Chapter 11: Katherine

Elena's pov

Today is Thanksgiving which means we have today, tomorrow and the weekend until we have to return to school. Aunt Alex invited Stefan and me to dinner at her house. She said she has something to tell us. My head is gently layed on Stefan's chest until he wakes up. After a couple minutes Stefan's eyes begin to flutter. "Good morning handsome." I smile into his green eyes with a smile. "Good morning beautiful." He replies kissing my head. "Happy Thanksgiving." I say snuggling closer to him. He wraps his arms around me, and there we stay for awhile just being there with each other. "We should start to get ready, aunt Alex is having us over for dinner and it'll be nice if you could make something for the dinner." I tell him drawing circles on his chest. "Your right. What should I make?" Stefan says continuing to hold me close. "Oh how about stuffing its my favorite!" I say with a huge smile. "As you wish my love!" Stefan says starting to get up. "Hey, can we maybe go black Friday shopping? I've never really gotten to go." I say with a smirk. "Anything for my dearest Elena." He says kissing my hand. He pulls the covers off of him. And starts walking down the stairs. I daydream about our future together. What it will be like. The smell of Stefan's cooking snaps me out of my daydream. I decide to hop into the shower. Once I strip out of my pajamas I let the hot water run down my spine as I close my eyes. I finishing washing myself and get out. I wrap my fluffy white towel around me and decide to go into the kitchen. "Hello handsome." I say giving him kisses on his neck. "Hi gorgeous." Stefan says kissing my lips. "How's the stuffing coming?" I ask hugging is waist. "Mmm great." Stefan tells me, leaning down to meet my lips. "Wanna try some?" Stefan asks holding a big wooden spoon to my lips. "Yes please!" I tell him with a big smile. I open my mouth as Stefan gently places the spoon in my mouth. "OH MY GOD! STEFAN!!!! That's absolutely wonderful!" I say. "Ha I'm glad you like it." Stefan chuckles. "I'm gonna go finish getting ready." I say kissing his cheek. "I LOVE YOU!" Stefan yells to me. "I LOVE YOU!" I yell back to him. A blush still comes across my cheeks. Just staying I love you to him makes my heart flutter. I walk over to my closet and decide on some light blue ripped jeans and I put on some white lace tights under the jeans. I then pick out a black and white top with a light brown pocket. I pick out my nude pumps. I slip everything on and move on to hair and makeup. I do my normal makeup but with a nude lip. Then I touch up my hair by straightening it. I look in the mirror and make sure everything looks right. I smile at myself and go down to meet Stefan. "How's the stuffing." I ask with a smile. "It's great!" Stefan says still stirring the mixture. "Wo! You look fantastic Elena!"Stefan says walking towards me. All I can do is giggle and feel my face turn bright red. Once Stefan's body reaches mine, he looks down at me as I look up at him. He presses his lips on mine, "I love you Elena. "I love you Stefan. I speak as I lean up so my lips meet his. "OK now go get ready, I don't want to be late, we need to leave in five minutes. I tell him playfully pushing him away from me. I watch him walk up the stairs, well he dances up the stairs. I giggle to myself as I put the stuffing in a container. In about 3 minutes Stefan comes down looking extremely hot. Once he reaches the bottom of the stairs, "We are going to be the best looking." Then our lips touch at the same time, as if he had read my mind. "Stuffing is already to go, on the counter. Ready?" I ask holding his hand. "As long as I'm with you." Stefan tells me, as my heart flutters. He grabs the stuffing as I grab my phone and the keys. We walk to Aunt Alex's house and have goofy conversations. Very soon we get there, which I was happy because I was already starving and it was getting very cold. "Here take my jacket." Stefan says,wrapping his jacket around me and then pulling me closer to him. We walk up the the front door and Stefan knocked twice. "Welcome! So glad you two could come! Please come in!"Aunt Alex says holding a glass of wine in one hand, while the other was holding a man's hand. They moved aside and Stefan and I walked in. There were people there but not a ton. Which I was happy about. A couple quickly walks over to us, "Hi I'm McKenna, this is my boyfriend Eric." She says shaking our hands with a smile. "Hi I'm Eric." Ge says. Him and Stefan to a 'bro hug' and I just shake his hand. We make small talk with them but, a smile quickly fades off my face when I see Katherine. "Elena, are you ok?" McKenna asks me. "Oh! Of course. There's just someone I'm dying to speak to. "Oh well please go right ahead. We can talk later." McKenna tells me. Stefan sees where I start to walk over to and quickly grabs my hand. "Elena, are you sure?" He asks concerned. "Yes." I remark back at him as I continue to walk towards Katherine. "Katherine, always a delight! What are you doing here." I say in a sarcastic tone. "Well your dear auntie and I have bonded over the past few weeks." Katherine says sipping her wine. "HEY EVERYBODY! X-BOX GAMES IN THE LIVING ROOM" I hear Aunt Alex yell. I saw the smile on Stefan's face from the corner of my eye. I give Katherine a smirk and take Stefan's hand as we walk into the living room. "So who wants to play first?" Eric asks. "I think Stefan vs Elena."McKenna says as she cuddles next to Eric. "I'm up the challenge." I say poking Stefan. "Fine, but don;t be too upset when I beat you."Stefan tells me putting me in a gentle head lock. "Hey! Hey! Let's play." I say untangling myself from the head lock. Stefan and I played for about two hours and it ended in a tie! "Hey baby, I'm gonna go help with dinner. I want to make sure Alex knows how to correctly heat my glorious stuffing!' Stefan says kissing my lips. "Mm ok." I say with my eyes closed. "I love you Elena." He tells me. "I love you Stefan." I say back. Stefan turns around and plows me a kiss. I blow him one back and giggle. I love that boy so much its crazy. "So, who's next?" I asked. Eric and Mckenna were playing for a good 30 minutes until, "God! Where is that food! I'm starving!" Eric complains. "I'll go find Stefan and see."

Stefan's POV

"Hey Alex, need my help with anything?" I ask. "Uh yeah! There are wine glasses in the basement. Go get them would ya?" She asks running around the kitchen. "Sure!" I tell her walking towards the basement stairs when Katherine stopped me. "Uh excuse me Katherine." I say slightly pushing her over with my shoulder. "Really Stefan! Really. Excuse me is all I get from you." She says crossing her arms. "Yeah Katherine that's all you get! I don't care about you!" I say getting mad. "Stefan! We used to be lovers! L-O-V-E-R-S!" She spells out. "I know how to spell it." I say. "Stefan you used to love me, then we just go to strangers! YOU LOVED ME!" Katherine yells at me. "KATHERINE LOVING YOU WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY ENTIRE LIFE! I LOVE ELENA AND YOU KNOW THAT WE WILL NEVER EVER BE A COUPLE AGAIN! I WILL MAKE IT MY LIFE MISSION TO KILL YOU!" I scream at her. She smashes her lips onto mine. As soon as I realized it I pushed her off of my. "What did you feel?'She asks her voice quieter but, she had a smirk on her face. "Noth." I started but something, someone cut me off. "Stefan." I shaky voice said.
