The rain pattered on every roof in this large city while everyone slept, cozy in their beds. The midnight sky, filled with bright twinkling stars. The small child in my arms smiled, letting a giggle out. I know I would regret giving her up but it was for the best. She would grow up with a normal family. She wouldn't grow up in hell knowing of her father and his pride. She could go to school and make friends. "Don't worry little demon. We'll see each other again" I said, before giving her one last kiss and disappearing into the night.
I waited by a nearby car. My daughter's cries were enough to wake the whole household. A teenage blonde girl opened the door and smiled when she saw the small baby on her doorstep. "Well hello there. Let's go inside. We don't want to catch a cold" she said, before picking up my child and taking her inside. Through the window, I watched as the young teen handed the baby to her family. It wasn't until I was sure that they were going to keep her did I eventually return to the hellhole, that was in fact hell.
