Kakashis p.o.v:

It's been a while since Shikamaru and (Y/N) got engaged, recently they told me and Iruka they were going on a mission that would take a long time and wanted us to plan their wedding. Of course Iruka happily agreed before checking with me but that's alright, this is my sisters wedding and we are going to make it special.
I was walking through the village and decided to ask their friends some questions, I guess I'll start with Ino at her flower shop. I walk in and see Sai tending to some flowers.

"Hey Sai!"
(Sai): *Jumps a little* "Oh hi Sensei!"
"Do you happen to know where Ino is?"
(Sai): "She's in the back, you can go back if you'd like to talk to her!"
"Thanks Sai, I'll see you later!"

I go around to the back and find my way through a jungle of flowers, I reach Ino and tap her shoulder.

(Ino): "Hm?...Oh hi Sensei! What can I help you with!"
"It's about the wedding, do you happen to know what (Y/N) favorite flower is?"
(Ino): "Yes! She really loves (favorite flower)! Every now and then Shikamaru comes and buys a bouquet of them after he comes back from a really long mission."
"Thanks for telling me, you can't have a wedding without the brides favorite flowers."
(Ino): "I agree! And I'll be happy to make her bouquet!"
"Thanks! I gotta run! Bye Ino!"

She waves me goodbye as I turn the corner, Choji should know their favorite foods and Kiba might know their favorite colors. I make a clone and send it to Choji while I go find Kiba, I reach his house and see that he's training with Akamaru.

"Hey! Kiba! Over here!"
(Kiba): *Looks around until he spots me.* "What's up Sensei?"
"I was wondering if you knew what (Y/N) and Shikamarus favorite colors are?"
(Kiba): "Well Shikamarus favorite color is blue and (Y/N) loves the color (favorite color)."
"Thanks Kiba!"
(Kiba): "No worries, is there something else I can do for you?"
"That's all for now! Keep up the hard work!"

I leave and wonder what else I need to ask and who would know their favorite things, I recalled my clone and Choji said Shikamaru loves mackerel cooked with miso and (Y/N) enjoys eating (favorite food). I'm really not cut out for this wedding planner thing, I hope Iruka is making better progress than I am.

Iruka p.o.v:

I wait at the academy for a few friends of (Y/N) and Shikamarus to show up, I've made a list of necessary things for the wedding. Knowing Kakashi he's probably running around asking small questions. We need all the time we can get, so I begin anxiously walking back and forth waiting for the group.

(Sakura): "Hurry up you guys we're late!"
(Kiba): "Hey it's not our fault! Kakashi was the one asking weird questions!"
(Neji): "Kiba is right. After he asked me about shikamarus style, he began asking about Erena."
(Sai): "She is the one who you said I love you too and kissed at the gate right?"
(Neji): "Sai you you watching?!"
(Sai): "Well I was curious about the girl you were walking with."
(Neji): "Unbelievable."
(Ino): "So she is your girlfriend?"
(Neji): "Yes...."
(Ino): "I knew it!"
(Neji): "Forget about it, Iruka needs us right now."

I see them round the corner and run towards me. They all look exhausted except for Kiba who was riding on Akamaru, I wave them over and pull out a notebook to write everything down.

"Alright everyone this requires team work, and we need everything planned by tonight! Hinata, Sakura, Ino I need you to figure out flower arrangements, decorations and bridesmaids dresses!"

(Sakura): "You can count on us!"*Begins running with Ino and Hinata.*

"Choji, Shino, Lee! I need you to take care of catering, and finding the perfect cake!

(Lee): "We will not let you down Sensei!"
*Salutes and runs off with Choji, and Shino.*

"Kiba, Sai, Neji, Sasuke, Naruto I need you to come with me to find suits and finding a perfect location for the wedding!"

(Kiba): "Are suits really necessary?"
(Neji): "Don't be an idiot Kiba of course they are necessary. Just not for Akamaru."
(Naruto): "We should get a tie for Akamaru."*Grins at Akamaru and chuckles.*
(Neji): *Stares at Naruto like he's a complete moron.*
"Alright, let's just go."

We begin walking towards the village tailor, and on our way I happen to notice Kakashi reading in a tree. He's oblivious to the fact that I, his lover, was right below him. I nod at Naruto and he begins climbing the tree and goes right behind Kakashi.

"Hey Kakashi Sensei!" *Pushes his back making him fall from the tree and right on to me, making me fall.*
(Kakashi): "Oh hey Iruka how's it going?"
"Kakashi you're supposed to be helping!"
(Kakashi): "Then I'll join you at the tailor!"

I sigh and grab his hand and walk towards the tailor.

Back at the academy 3 hours later:

We all join each other at the academy after a very stressful 3 hours but everyone seems to have been successful with the tasks they were given.

"Alright let's run through this. My group decided that the location will be right outside the Nara forest, and have our suits tailored. Sakura?"
(Sakura): "All of our dresses are ready and Ino has all the flowers prepared and all of the decorations are their favorite colors!"
"Alright great! Choji!"
(Choji): "We decided on Korean BBQ and Mackerel cooked in Miso!"
(Lee): "Yes! And we found a two layered cake with blue and (favorite color) ribbons and flowers!"
"Great job everyone!"

I give them all a hug before I take Kakashis hand and walk home.

"Today turned out great Kakashi."
(Kakashi): "It really did."
"I'm just glad this is all over."
(Kakashi): "Well until our wedding that is." *Gives me a wink and squeezes my hand putting it into his pocket where I feel a box.*
"K-Kakashi....is this?...."
(Kakashi): *Does a closed eyed grin.* "Is what Iruka?"

I begin to tear up as Kakashi gets down on one knee and pulls out the box and opens it. Inside was a silver ring with two diamonds on either side of a leaf symbol on the inside was ingraved "I+K".
(Kakashi): "Iruka? Will you marry me?
"I'd love to marry you Kakashi Hatake!"

He puts the ring on my finger and we pull each other close and share a kiss before going inside.
