Tara's POV

"Slade!" I yelled angrily.

He turned around calmly and eyed me.

"Yes, Tara?"

"What happened with the virus!? How did Manette get into our mainframe!?" I demanded.

"I'm not sure, but the important thing is that you were able to stop her." He said.

"We're both really lucky they didn't catch me. If they hadn't of been so worried about poor Manette, they would have. The entire mission was jeopardized." I complained.

"Then I'm very lucky to have you." He said.

I groaned in annoyance, "Why can't you just shoot her? How would Talia even be able to connect the dots between you and I?"

"She would probably wonder how I even knew about the stupid hacker in the first place. Talia is not stupid, she could easily connect the dots. Besides, Talia and I avoid messing with each other right now." Slade explained.

I sighed, "I don't know why you don't just kill her."

"That's because you couldn't possibly understand everything I do about the league of shadows." He grumbled.

I glared.

"How is the mission going?" He asked.

"You've been watching everything, why should I know more than you?" I asked.

"Because you were there. I can't always reads the emotions of teenagers out of your eye camera." He replied, turning to face his computer.

"Damian, Raven, and Manette were all having fun in Manette's room when I left. We're all going out tonight. I guess that means it's going fine." I shrugged.

He started typing, "Good. I'd like to keep Manette distracted from thinking about what she saw on her computer before you broke it."

I nodded, "I can do that."

"Alright then, anything else?" He asked impatiently.

I crossed my arms, "Well, since I'm here, I thought maybe we could-"

"No Tara. We don't have time for games right now. Go back to the tower and get ready to go out." He said curtly.

I huffed, "Fine."

Damian's POV

"Who's Alfred?" Garfield asked.

I glared at him and left the room, making sure to go in a different direction than Manette did.

I slapped my cape, annoyed that it was doing the Batman thing.

"What happened to you?" Tara asked, appearing around the corner.

"Stay out of my business Tara." I grumbled, walking past her.

"Woah, someone isn't happy. What happened? Was it Manette?" She asked.

I turned around and glared, "What does it matter to you?"

She crossed her arms, "Well I don't want my team mates angry at each other. It affects their ability to do their part on a mission. More work for me."

I opened my mouth, before closing it again.

"Yeah. So what's wrong?" She asked.

I hesitated. It's not like I'm the kind of person to just pour my soul out. To anyone.

I huffed, "I don't want to talk about it."

I started walking towards my room again, but Tara persistently followed.
