After quickly finishing off his wee, Draco reemerged from the bathroom stall. "All done?" Lupin asked happily, genuinely impressed by Draco's compliance with using the toilet. "Yeah" Draco said with a hint of a smile. Internally he was quite proud of himself for not having an accident and trusting Professor Lupin. "Great. Now get your hands washed and then we can go back to the rest of the group" Lupin continued to instruct Draco on what to do next, but this didn't really bother Draco at all.
Once his hands were all washed Draco and Professor Lupin were guided back to the cafeteria where the rest of the students were finishing up their lunch.
"I saved some food for you" Blaise smiled, handing a plate of sandwiches to Draco as he sat himself down. "Thanks" Draco smiled, looking at the otherwise empty table that his friends had devoured. "Did you go to the toilet with Lupin?" Blaise asked Draco. Draco nodded, hoping nobody else had listened in to the question. "Okay, cool. Well I'll just head to the bathroom now" Blaise said, standing up and heading in the direction of the toilet. He himself was hopeful that Draco could make it through the remainder of the trip without any more accidents. So, he made a mental note to ask Draco often throughout the afternoon to go for a wee with him.
Within 5 minutes Blaise was back at the table and in deep conversation with Draco about what they had seen in the department of magical law enforcement.
"Okay everybody, quieten down please" Maddox spoke from the front of the room, his wand pointing at this throat to amplify his voice. All of the students immediately stopped their conversations and turned their undivided attention back to the tour guide. "We will shortly begin making our way to the department of magical accidents and catastrophes. So, if you could all start lining yourselves up at the door" Maddox continued, pointing towards a door at the back of the cafeteria.
"This should be exciting" Blaise said as he gathered all of his things up and threw his backpack over his shoulder. Draco smiled in agreement. Something about the word "accidents" made him nervous, but he wasn't too sure why. He hoped it wasn't a prediction for what was to come for him during his time in the department.
After all of the students had lined themselves up in a orderly queue Maddox began escorting them to the next department. Once at the entrance he turned back to address the children. "Okay, so in this department we are going to be splitting you into four groups so you are able to an activity with one of our experienced members of staff. For this you will need a roll of parchment as well as your quill" Maddox explained. He then went on to say that the students would be split alphabetically according to their last name. This means that Draco was put into Group 3, while Blaise was put into Group 4.
Draco looked at Blaise once they were told this, his eyes wide and scared. "You'll be okay" Blaise tried to reassure Draco as he noticed the fear this had evoked in him. "Can't I stay with you" Draco spoke sadly, not wanting to be split up from his best friend. "I think we'd get in trouble" Blaise said sorrowfully. He knew how much Draco relied on him, so he couldn't help but feel bad for being put into a different group.
