Autumn carried a sleeping Evie as Mark helped carry the last of the boxes into her apartment as she walked around taking in her new home. Mark placed down the last box as he looked over at Autumn a small smile on his lips.

"So how are you feeling?" Mark says to her as she turns to face him taking in a small breath as she gives him a small smile.

"Yeah okay I guess it's just a lot of change but it's what's best for me and Evie. And I'm happy she'll get to be with you more and you don't have to watch her grow up on a phone screen." Autumn says as Mark walks over to her as he takes Evie into his arms.

"Yeah me too if you want I could take for a while let you get settle in and up pack some of your stuff while she's sleeping." Mark suggests as Autumn looks around her apartment.

"Yeah that would be helpful I'll come get her in a bit and Callie is coming over to help me unpack anyway so it'll be good for us to catch up." Autumn says as Mark nods at Autumn as she hands him Evie's bag as they headed out to his apartment while Autumn began unpacking.

A few days passed as Autumn had began working at Seattle Grace Mercy West as a cardio and peds attending.

Autumn stood opposite Derek and Mark as Richard pulled Owen into the conference room after the residents began fighting each other. Mark looked at Autumn as she looked away from him as he walked over to her as Lexie watched them both.

"What do you want Mark?" Autumn snaps at him as he pulls her away from Derek and the residents.

"Look I just want to explain-" Mark says as Autumn rolls her eyes at him.

"Look if your embarrassed by Evie then that's on you because our daughter deserves better than a dad who is embarrassed of her. Maybe she wasn't planned but I never regret having her and I never will even with you." Autumn snaps at him as he looks at her.

"That's what you think that I'm embarrassed of our daughter. You couldn't be more wrong I love Evie more than anyone she'll always come first she makes me a better person and want to be the best dad I can. This has nothing to do with Evie it's about Lexie I'm scared that she'll leave me and I'm in love with her." Mark says to Autumn as she looks at him.

"I get that it's hard for you but I won't let Evie get hurt because of your relationship drama I told you that you could be as much a part of her life as you wanted to be and I mean that but don't mess with her Mark she deserves more." Autumn says as she walks off leaving Mark standing there.

Hours earlier...

Autumn called out for Mark as they headed into the trauma room with one of the patients. "dr. Sloan,need you in here." Autumn called across to Mark as he nodded at her.

"Evan lang,16,second- and third-degree burns over 60% of his body.Hey,grey.Come on when you're
done,'cause we need hands." Autumn fills in Mark before turning to Lexie as they went into the trauma room to tend to Evan.

"It's okay.You're okay.we're just gonna examine you,and then we're gonna get you warmed up again,okay,evan?" Autumn says to him with a small smile at the teenager shakes.

"my dad.Where is my dad?" Evan asks her as Autumn face remained in a small smile.

"You just give me his name,and we'll find him,okay?Cause he's gotta be looking for you,too." Autumn says to Evan as Mark goes over to Lexie.

"here.For the smell.Listen... burns like this
are really... difficult.You don't really... you wanna switch with someone-- karev or somebody?" Autumn overhears Mark saying to Lexie as she looks at them both over her shoulder.

"you think I can't handle this?No,no,no,I-I--
because I-I can.I'm good. I'm here." Lexie says to him as Mark nods as Autumn looks at him.

"Let's keep the trauma rooms clear for the burn cases,please." Mark calls out to everyone is the E.R before moving and standing beside Autumn.

"I can't get a pulse on the doppler." Autumn says to Mark.

"Okay,evan,I have to do an escharotomy.Now have to cut into the burned skin to restore circulation your arm,okay?" Mark says as Autumn move around to the other side of the bed.

"did you find my dad?" Evan cries out is autumn gives him a weak smile.

"you know what? I'll ask again in a sec,okay? Push another 25 of fentanyl. Okay,evan,you're just
gonna talk to me,all right?" Autumn says to him trying to take his mind away from what Mark was doing.

"So you said you're in town looking at a college?" Autumn asks him as she smiles at him.

"Yeah,I got a scholarship to cornish.I'm not sure I can take the rain.no!No!" Evan cries out in huge amounts of pain.

"I'm sorry.I'm sorry.I know.You're okay,pal.You're gonna be okay." Mark says to him as Autumn looks back at Evan.

"That's what I thought at first,too about the rain. dr. Grey,you grew up here,right? So you get used to the rain..." Autumn says as she sees Lexie crying.

"lexie." Mark whispers to her.

"dr. Grey,step out. Come back when you've got it together.Go." Autumn says to her as Mark looks at her.

"How was Evie last night?" Autumn asks Mark as they continue to help Evan.

"Yeah she was fine." Mark says to Autumn as Lexie walked back in as she stood beside Mark looking between the two.

"Who was fine?" Lexie asks as Mark looked at Autumn before looking back at Lexie.

"Just a patient me and Autumn had I checked on her this morning she seemed fine." Mark says as Autumn glared at him for still hiding their daughter from Lexie.

Autumn was walking out of the hospital with Evie holding her hand as she saw Mark and Lexie talking at the front of the hospital.

Mark saw her as Evie looked over at him too as she called out to her dad. "Daddy!" The almost three year old exclaims as she ran over to Mark as Autumn hurried after her.

Evie reached Mark as Lexie looked at him in shock as he went down to Evie's level and picked her up. "Hey Angel." Mark says as he kisses her head as Autumn walked over to them.

"I'm sorry I didn't know she'd seen you. We should get going right eves." Autumn says as she held out her arms as Mark kissed Evie again and handed her to Autumn.

"I'll see you soon Angel be good for mommy." Mark says as Autumn took Evie to her car and strapped her in as she saw Mark and Lexie arguing before Lexie walked off as Mark looked back at autumn as she gave him a weak smile.

"Evie could do with her daddy reading her bed time story if you want to?" Autumn called out to him as Mark smiles faintly nodding as he made his way to his car and headed to autumn apartment with her and Evie.
