Autumn was helping Evie get ready as mark was on the phone as he walked into Evie's bedroom. "We've got it." Mark says with a huge smile on his face as autumn looks up.

"We got the house?" Autumn asks him a smile growing on her own face as mark nodded his head.

"Yeah the accepted the offer we can pick up the keys at the end of the week. We've got a house." Mark says as he leans down and kisses autumn as she kisses him back.

"We're actually doing this?" Autumn says struggling to believe it is real.

"Yeah we're doing this now what colour does my princess want her room to be?" Mark says as he picks Evie up and tickles her.

Evie giggles as autumn smiles at the both of them as she stands up as mark stops tickling Evie as she catches her breath back. "I want a big girls bedroom." Evie says as mark looks at his girlfriend.

"I believe we can do that can't we mommy?" Mark says as autumn nods at him as she kisses Evie's head as she walks to make breakfast before they head to work.

Autumn sat eating some of the food from the 5th year breakfast as she saw mark making faces at her as she smiles while rolling her eyes. "You two seem very happy today what's going on?" Callie asks as she sits beside autumn.

"The offer on the house got accepted we get the keys at the end of the week." Autumn says as Callie smiles at her.

"That's great but weird not having you and mark just across the hall we might have to buy a house near you guys." Callie says as autumn smiles at her.

"Now that's an idea I can get behind." Autumn says as she continues eating her food and talking with Callie.

Autumn finished checking over some of the patients that came in as she finished up making notes in the files as Mark moved to stand beside her. "Not everyday there's a sinkhole." Mark says as autumn turns to him.

"Yeah let's be thankful of that." Autumn says as she hands her files back to the nurses as she looks at mark.

"Yeah it's going to get a whole lot busier." Mark says as one of the nurses look at autumn.

"There's a kid coming in he was trapped under the wreckage." The nurse says to autumn as she nods her head going to clear out a trauma room for her patient.

"How's Nicky doing?" Derek asks as he walks into the O.R that autumn and Alex were working in.

"I gotta do my final exploration,check for any missed bleeders,and then I'm out." Alex says to Derek.

"The kid had a renal artery thrombosis.I thought his kidney was a goner,but Alex did an interposition
graft and saved it.He's doing an amazing job." Autumn says as she looks up at Derek.

"I need to stabilize his spinal fracture.So what do you got, about another hour or so?" Derek asks looking at autumn.

"Well, with the rock star over here,you never know.
I'd keep your pager close by."Autumn says as she nods in approval to Alex.

"Dr. Shepherd." One of nurses call as he turns to face her.

"Mm-hmm." Derek mumbles as he looks at her.

"Janet Meyers with social services needs to speak with you.She's waiting in the lobby." The nurse says autumn looks up at her former brother in law.

"I heard about Meredith. I'm sorry.But you know, Meredith's strong,you're strong.You're gonna make it through..." Autumn says to him as he smiles in appreciation as Alex cuts her off.

"Could you guys just keep it down?I'm trying to concentrate. Please." Alex snaps as autumn and Derek look at him.

"All right. Just page me when you're ready, okay?" Derek says as autumn nods her head at him before concentrating back on her surgery.

Autumn went to check on Evie as she was in the daycare since it was summer. She saw her playing with some of the older kids as she ran over as autumn walked in.

"Hi mommy." Evie says as autumn wrapped her arms around her daughter glad she was safe. She pressed a kiss into the side of her head.

"Hey Evie are you having a good day?" Autumn asks as she looked down at her daughter.

"Yeah I did some painting and now get to decorate cookies come look at mine." Evie says as autumn followed the excited little girl.

"Wow it looks great lots of colour." Autumn says as she smiles at her daughter who smiles back at her.

Autumn made her way downstairs as Mark came out of his patient room as he smiled at her. "Hey you just finished up with the kid?" He asks as autumn walks over to him.

"Yeah we finished up a while ago Dereks in the with him now trying to stabilise the spinal fracture how's the dad?" Autumn asks as mark looks up at her.

"He should be fine might have a nasty scar with Averys awful handy work." Mark comments as autumn scowls at him slightly.

"Your his mentor your supposed to teach him. If he does badly that reflect badly on you." Autumn says smirking as she kisses mark before she goes to check on some of her other patients.
