Autumn had got the supplies she needed as she was making her way back to the conference room as she froze as her eyes fell on Gary Clark.

He held the gun by his side as Autumn froze not daring to move and it that moment she thought this would be it as panic set in as her hand began to tremble. Her mind went to two people first Evie knowing whatever happened she would fight to get to her daughter she was glad she was safe with Addison but scared if she'd have to grow up without her mum.

Her mind then wandered to Mark she'd always felt something for him and she'd be lying if she said that she didn't know how she felt about him but Addison had been right all a long she was very much in love with Mark sloan and had been for a while now. She did feel something for Luke but she knew it wouldn't compare to what she felt for Mark and seeing him with Lexie almost killed her.

Autumn is brought out of her trance as she looks up at Gary Clark. "Oh, mr. Clark." Autumn says as she looks at him with a solemn look on her face.

"I didn't plan to shoot all those people." Gary said to her as Autumns eyes remained on him as the fear inside her grew.

"Of...Of course you didn't.You were... Sad,You were-you were grieving." Autumn said to him as he looked at her.

"I only planned to shoot dr. Shepherd.And dr. Webber.And Dr Grey.She unplugged the machines. Her hands killed my Alison. I'm sorry." He says to her as he raised his gun toward Autumn as gun shot went off as Autumn found herself on the floor as her eyes were squinted shut as she felt something hovering over her.

Autumn opened her eyes as she saw Mark hovering above her as his eyes scanned her to make sure she hadn't been shot as they both saw Gary Clark on the floor as a officer stood beside them as he signalled for them to move which they did heading back to Alex and Lexie.

Autumn and Mark had got Alex to the hospital as he had been taken to Seattle Presbyterian where they had taken him up to surgery.

Autumn had decided to FaceTime Addison as she had miss calls from her. When Addison answered she looked at her sister after she had been hearing the news all day.

"Hey how are you? I mean you are okay right?" Addison asked her voice filled with worry and fear for her sister's safety as Autumn nodded slightly.

"Yeah I'm okay umm I had to work on Karev he was shot we've just got him to Seattle Presbyterian they've taken him to surgery I'm going to stay here see if I can do something more or wait for news on the others. How's Evie been?" Autumn asks as Addison turned her phone to the sleeping toddler beside her.

"She's fine just tired I took her to the beach with Amelia she's been asking for you and Mark all day I didn't tell her anything. I've just said you've both been busy and you'll call her after you finish work." Addison tells her as she reads the look on Autumns face. "What's going on Tatum?" Addison says calling her sister by her nickname as Autumn sinks into one of the seat behind her.

"I could've been shot but Mark pushed me out of the way I mean we're both fine but Addy your were right I do feel something for him. Something I haven't felt for anyone I'm in love with him but I'm with Luke and I feel so guilty." Autumn says as she tells Addison everything.

"Tatum you shouldn't feel guilty it's okay to feel something for Mark but what are you going to do about it?" Addison asks as autumn didn't know what to do as she saw Mark heading towards her.

"I don't know but I've got to go tell Evie I love her and I'll call later." Autumn says as she ends the call as Mark sits beside her.

"How's Evie?" Mark asks as he looks up at Autumn as she plays with her fingers.

"Yeah she's fine Addison and Amelia took her to the beach and she's been asking about us but she's sleeping so I'll call her back later." Autumn says as Mark nods.

"And how are you doing?" Mark says as Autumn looks at him confused slightly.

"Me I'm fine completely fine." Autumn says as Mark looks at her.

"Autumn I've known you long enough to know your not okay and after today it's okay if your not you can talk to me always I'm here for you." Mark says as he holds her hand as Autumn looks at him as he looks at her too.

Autumns eyes fall on Marks lips as his eyes fall on her lips. They both begin to lean in until Autumn hears her name being called as she sees Luke walking towards her as she stands up quickly as he engulfed her in a hug.

"I've just found out on the news and got your messages are you okay? Where's Evie?" Luke says as autumn look at him.

"Yeah im fine and Evie's in La with Addy but yeah im fine." Autumn says as he hugs her again as she sees Mark walking away as she felt her heart break again.

A/N- Autumn has realised her feeling for Mark but when will she reveals them and I'm not getting Mark and Lexie back together in season 7. Her and Luke will break up soon and I have an idea. Hope you liked the chapter.
