Autumn stood opposite Cristina and Jackson as she looked at her patients heart. "Oh, my god." Cristina says as she looked at the heart.

"Oh, my god. Wow." Jackson says at the same time as Cristina as Autumn looks at them both.

"That is the biggest pseudoaneurysm i've ever seen." Cristina says as Autumn looks over the heart shaking her head at what she sees.

"It's at the suture line of the transplant.The new heart is dying.Damn it." Autumn says as she grew frustrated.

"Poor guy that brought her in.I think they were on their third date." Jackson says to them as autumn works out her next move.

"It doesn't even look like a heart anymore." Cristina says as Autumn looks at her students.

"That's because it's not.It's a chunk of useless flesh that has to come out right now." Autumn tells them as they both look at her shocked.

"You're taking the heart out?What are you gonna replace it with?" Cristina questions her as Autumn looks up.

"I don't know. We're gonna have to figure it out as we go." Autumn tells them as they both share a look with each other.

"Okay, wait.Let me get this straight.You removed her heart?" The patients date asks as he looks at three surgeons.

"Yes." Autumn tells him simply.

"A-And she can live that way?Like--Like what, like a-A vampire?" He asks her as Autumn looks at him.

"Usually you'd connect A ventricular assist device
to the heart,But since she doesn't have a heart--" Jackson tries to explain as Cristina cuts him off.

"Dr. Montgomery attached two, um, devices to her blood vessels.Now this machine now pumps the blood through her body, Which is basically, um,a miracle." Cristina explains to him.

"I really like her.Uh, i like her a lot.But we've only had four dates.I'm supposed to have thanksgiving
With my family, you know?She was gonna join us. And now she's like a...She can really live without a heart?" He asks them as Autumn looks at the patient and then back at him.

"If you don't want to stay, we have a great nursing staff,Great doctors.She'll be in good hands." Autumn tries to reassure him.

"No. You know, she doesn't even have a family.And if it was me, i would want somebody here.So... i'll stay." He says as Autumn smiles at him.

"Okay." Autumn nods as she goes to the daycare to see Evie for a while.

Autumn took Evie down to the cafeteria as she sat down with Callie as Evie sat in her lap. "Hey how come you paged me?" Autumn asks as she looked up at her best friend.

"So something happened and I thought you should know that a 18 year old girl came in looking for Mark and she might be his daughter." Callie says to Autumn as she looks at her friend slightly taken back.

"Mark has another kid?" Autumn questions to make sure she heard it right.

"Maybe and Arizona and I cooking thanksgiving dinner your coming with Evie and spending it with us Mark and Lexie." Callie says to her as Autumn looks at her.

"Do I have to?" Autumn asks as Callie glares at her friend.

"Yes you do and Don't you want Evie to spend the holidays with her dad and her favourite aunties?" Callie says as Autumn smiles at her slightly.

"I think Addison would have something to say about the favourite aunties but we'll be there." Autumn says as she smiles at her friend.

Autumn was sat playing with Evie as while the other three where cooking thanksgiving dinner. Lexie and Autumn had been getting along and Lexie was beginning to grow on her.

Mark walked in as Sloan followed shortly behind him. "Hey." Sloan says as all four women look at her.

"Hi.Hello." Arizona and Callie say at the same time.

"Welcome. Happy thanksgiving.Who wants wine?" Callie asks them.

"Ooh, i do." Sloan says as autumn continues to play with Evie.

"No, you--You don't.Um... hey, everybody.Uh, well, the results are in.It, uh, turns out sloan was right About her parentage.I am her dad.Um, so here's another thing to be thankful for.Lexie, sloan here Is gonna move in with us for a little while." Mark says to Lexie as she cut her finger.

"Oh, my god.Oh!" Arizona and Callie say as they rush to help Lexie.
~Christmas Eve
Autumn was walking into the hospital holding Evie's hand as she spotted mark with Callie and Arizona as Evie ran over to Mark.

Mark picked Evie up with a smile on his face as he looked at his daughter. "How's my favourite girl doing?" Mark asks her as she smiles at him.

"Good daddy I'm three now." Evie says as it was her birthday as she had been born on Christmas Eve as Mark looked at her surprised.

"No way my little girl is only 2 she's my little baby." Mark says as Evie shook her head at him as she giggled while he tickles her.

"Tell him mommy I'm three now." Evie says as she looks at Autumn who was smiling at the pair.

"How is my baby girl three already? Happy birthday princess." Mark says as kissed her head as she hugged him.

"Well Happy Birthday Evie." Callie and Arizona says as Mark volunteered to drop Evie off at daycare as Autumn went to see one of her patients.

Autumn stood with Mark as she held Evie in her arms as she watched Lexie and Sloan arguing as Derek walked over to the pair.

"Mark...your kids are bickering." Derek says as he and Autumn both start laughing as Mark glares at the pair of them.

"Have you talked to her yet?" Autumn asks him as he looks over at sloan and Lexie who were still arguing.

"I'm workin' on it." Mark says as he walks away from Derek and Autumn as he gets another drink.

"Her kidneys are shutting down.We need to find a donor.We needed to find one yesterday." Autumn says as she looks over Kelsey's file as she looks up at Cristina.

"It's new year's eve, dr. Yang.You said i just had to make it to new year's eve." Kelsey says as she looks at Cristina.

"Drunks all over the roads.So yeah.Tonight's are best shot." Cristina tells her as Autumn looks at her.

Autumn sat at Joes bar with Callie and Arizona as Mark had taken Evie for a few hours. "Do you want anymore kids?" Callie asks as she looks at her best friend.

"Never really thought about it I mean it was always Addy who wanted to be a mom and me well I wanted to be successful in life and to make a difference. Evie was a very happy surprise but I don't know i think it would depend on the person I was with." Autumn answers as takes a sip of her drink.
