After congratulating the brave warriors that battled in the fight with Viren's lava monsters, the cave they were in rumbled and shook. Everyone tried to balance, but Zym's eyes widened. He ran into the den his mom was in. Rayla and everyone followed him. They stopped in front of the Dragon Queen. Her blue eyes blinked slowly opened. Then when she was aware of other presences, she stood up and looked down on the humans and elves. Ezran's jaw dropped. Rayla and Ibis smiled, while others stared in awe. The baker took a bite of the jelly tart in his hand.

Zym flew in front of the Queen and stood in his nest. The Queen's eyes widened. She bent down and touched her snout to her son's hair. Zym rubbed his head against her snout. Rayla wiped a tear from her eyes and Bait cried. After a moment, the two dragons broke free and the Dragon Queen asked, "Is this a dream?"

The group walked forward. Rayla and Callum held hands, looked at each other before facing the dragon, who gasped. Amaya hit Janai's elbow and they held hands and smiled at the Dragon Queen.

"Humans and elves are here? And they brought back my baby? My love and my hope."

Zym flew to the humans and elves's side and above their heads.

Meanwhile, a few days later...

Claudia used dark magic to save her father's life.
