At the rooftop:
"How're we going to free them?" Rayla asked.
"I don't know," Ethari said.
"I do," a voice said. The group looked around and saw Claudia. "You'll need to use Dark Magic. I know the exact spell."
"Really?" Rayla asked.
"Yes, pass the coins to me."
Rayla passed the coins to Claudia, who smiled before performing the spell.
The coins glowed brighter and brighter until the light was too blinding, everyone had to close their eyes. When they opened them, three figures were standing before them. "Mo-m! Dad!" Rayla cried in happiness. She ran and hugged her parents.
"Runaan..." Ethari said breathlessly.
"Ethari..."
The two lovers looked at each other before closing the gap between them and pushed their lips together. "I thought you died, the enchanted flower drowned and I gave up hoping, but you're here. In front of me..." tears began to drop from Ethari's eyes.
"I'll never leave you. I did promise to return your heart to you," Runaan smiled.
"Mom, dad! You're here! After all this time!" Rayla cried, hugging her parents.
"Of course. We would never leave before saying goodbye," Lain said.
"I thought you guys abandoned your jobs for saving your lives, but I was wrong."
"Of course we won't abandon our duties," Tiadrin said.
"Er guys, I think this happy reunion needs to wait. There's still a battle and many wounded below us," Callum interrupted.
"Right. Mom, dad, let's talk afterwards! We need to catch up!" Rayla said cheerfully.
