The Return of Avizandum

A New Ally

Claudia rode on her horse for days until she almost reached the bottom of the Storm Spire. Before she could reach the bottom, she saw a few elves waiting for her. "Halt. Who are you?"

"I-i'm Claudia."

"The Dark Mage's daughter?" a Sunfire elf growled.

"Y-yes."

Elves growled at her. Claudia looked nervously at them, suddenly, she heard a familiar voice. "Clauds? What are you doing here?" it was Soren.

"Soren. I'm so sorry! Da-ad, he lied."

"Lied? What do you mean?"

"He didn't want the best for humanity. All he want is power. I couldn't stand him! He even created this army using the staffs he stole."

"What kind of army?" Soren's voice was urgent.

"Some of them are like ghosts. The other are made of manga. The ghost ones are unbeatable and the magma ones are strong."

The elves looked uneasy. "Why don't you come up? We can catch up!" Soren said cheerfully.

"Am-am I welcomed?"

"I'm sure you will be! You're my sis! You're not evil, dad just tricked you."

"Thanks, Sore-bear."

They reached the bottom of the mountain and saw camps, elves, and humans together. "Claudia?" a disbelieving voice asked.

"Ezran?"

"What are you doing here?" Ezran asked.

"She doesn't want to work for Viren anymore. She was tricked by his speeches and he is her father, so it must be hard to believe her own father is a monster. I didn't believe it too. I thought Viren was a good dad and if I do everything he tells me to do, it'll be right." Soren quickly defended his sister.

"Yeah, Viren can be a good actor," Callum walked up behind Ezran. "Hi Claudia."

"Hi Callum."

"So Claudia, you said Viren created an army, can you go into deeper details?" Soren asked.

"Yes... I saw the whole thing... it was scary..."

"Can you tell us?" Callum asked.

"I suppose. So dad made this new transparent elf friend, he's a mage. I'm pretty sure he's a Startouch elf. He and dad always talk about their next move."

"A Startouch elf?" Ezran, Callum, and Soren looked at each other.

"I was surprised that en elf would help us. But he did and he created the army as well."

"Can you describe the elf, like his name?" Callum asked.

"I don't know. But I think dad said his name was Aaravos?"

Callum's jaw dropped. "Do you know the elf?" Claudia asked.

"Ye-es... this cube here is called 'The Key of Aaravos' . The elf's history had been erased. Some said he created Dark Magic."
