When Dominic left I just put aside the pasta to keep working.

2 hour laters, almost halfway done this second file, I get a message from my dad.
    "𝙸 𝚗𝚎𝚎𝚍 $𝟻𝟶𝟶, 𝚋𝚢 𝟷𝟷 𝚙𝚖 𝚝𝚘𝚗𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝"
I roll my eyes when I read it. I reply with an okay. This is usually how it goes. Both my parents are drunkies, they always act mad and crazy and when they need money they come to me. When they are sober, which only happens when my brother is here, they act as if I'm not there.  I am a bit confused tho, my mom is the one who tells me to give her 500-700 dollars but my dad it's always been 100 or even sometimes 200. I wonder what he needs $500 for? Even if I ask they would never tell me. I usually keep two piles. One for my parents which is like more than half my paycheck and just a little bit for me. I put my phone away and try to finish this file and try to eat my cold pasta that been sitting there ever since Dominic left.

It's already 4 o clock and I would be leaving in thirty minutes but I need to complete these files. I'm on the third one now but it's way longer than the first two. There's a knock on my door and I say "come in". It's Amy. She's holding two coffees in her hand, one iced and one hot. I'm assuming the iced one is mine. "What's up girlie?" I ask. "Me and Dominic get to leave a bit early today, I was going to ask if you wanted to go get food but Dom said that you'll most likely staying until later. How much work do you have left anyway?" She says as she sits on the mini sofa. I groaned. "Too much. I would kill to go get food but Mr.Adam #3 needs this by 8 pm today" Amy gives a small smile with a look of confusion. "Mr. Adam #3?" She says with a small chuckle. "Yup, I mean there's the old man, so Mr. Adams #1 and than there's Mr. Mark Adams so he's  #2 while Mr. Brett Adams is #3." I explain and she nods her head. "Since you can't get food now, maybe a late dinner? Is 9 alright?" I think about it for a second and then nod my head "yeah that's fine".

After chatting with Amy for a while, I start to complete this stupid file that's taking years to finish. I open my phone for a little break and saw that my brother sent me a snap. Aw it's him with a dog.

(Just saying this is not her brother, you can imagine the characters anyway you like to)

He sends me these pictures saying I'll miss him less, but seeing them makes me miss him 10x more than I already do. I send one back with a peace sign.
