chapter 21 : reconnect

Darren's pov :

We end the day, Regie lays down next to me.

We're laying on our bed, in silence.

I turn on my side and Regie puts his head under the blanket.

"hi bean" he says.

"what are you doing" I ask.

He wraps his arms around my legs.

His face right infront of my stomach.

"i missed you bean" he says, then kisses my stomach before lifting his head back up.

"i love you" was the last thing I heard before I closed my eyes.
