"Shit" I grumble under my breath. I turn to look at Renjun and see that he is just as confused and nervous as me. Why are they here?

"Did you call them?" I whisper as I slowly walk to the front door.

"No, why would I call them" Renjun harshly whispered following behind me. I turned and observed his face as he answered and it seems that he wasn't lying.

"Then why are they here?" I ask when I know that there could be many reasons for their sudden surprise. It's not like there aren't two murderers in this apartment. As we finally reach the door I'm hesitating on whether or not I should tell Renjun to hide.

"Open the door" Renjun whined impatiently. Is he crazy? There are police at my door and need I to remind him that he is a serial killer. I reach up to the knob and turn it, slightly pulling open the door.

"What can I help you with," I ask the detectives kindly while sticking my head out. I observe them all and see that they are heavily armed. What am I, god?

"Lee Donghyuck we need you to come with us," The leading officer says while pulling handcuffs from his belt. I notice that some of the officers are looking at Renjun suspiciously, I softly grab his hand and pull him out of their view.

"let's keep this civil, no need to handcuff me," I say as I open the door fully and step out. I turn to Renjun and see that he holds a confused and worried expression. Suddenly they grab Renjun. Why?

"He needs to come with us for questioning as well," an officer says as they put him in cuffs. Thankfully he complies. They escort us to cars and drive us to the station. As soon as we enter the building we are split up almost instantly. Before Renjun was out of my sight I sent him a knowing glance, hoping he would understand and pull through. They definitely don't really need Renjun so chances are they will give him a phone call, lets just hope that he makes the right call.

I sit alone in a questioning room for about 15 minutes before my team leader and Mina walk into the room.

"Great" I sigh to myself. I look up to them and smile, I can see Mina stand in the back with a cocky smirk but I can also see fear embedded in her eyes.

"It's strange seeing you in here," The team leader said as he slightly boasted while pulling up a chair up and taking a seat. I nod in response.

"Let's keep this short and simple. Where were you on Thursday from 2-4 PM" the team leader asks as he leans forward just a bit. I take a look at Mina in the back and it seems like she's scared to sit down. I cock my eyebrow at her and smirk, keeping it almost unnoticable.

"I was at home with a friend, why," I respond casually while turning my attention back to the team leader. I can't show any sign of hesitation or nervousness. If Renjun is as smart as people say he is then he would have caught on to what I needed him to do by now, I also hope he didn't have any slip ups while speaking, but then again he is the CHU killer. People like him don't make mistakes.

"I'm sure that you know Seokhoon was murdered," He says looking at me expecting some kind of reaction. I can see Mina wince at the words. Were they lovers? If so, sorry Mina.

"Well his body was found in an alley by a security store, what kind of idiot kills near a security store," he says while chuckling.

"Yeah that is ridiculous, but what does this have to do with me," I say while chuckling along with him. He is most definitely trying to get a reaction out of me.

"Well we have a witness saying that they saw you arguing with him minutes before his death," He said with a smirk growing on his face. I gotta say I'm a little disappointed in him, he seems all too excited to bring me down, I thought he was different.

"I was at home with friends, they can all vouch for me," I say confidently, come on Renjun I need you to pull through.

"Who is this witness anyway," I ask curiously.

"Doesn't matter because we also have footage of you leaving the store" He says, which almost makes me falter. I watch as he pulls out a laptop and begins to search through the files.

"Is she gonna stand back there the whole time?" I ask nodding towards Mina. This pulls her out of her daze as she walks up to the table and finally joins us. He finally pulls up the footage and I almost laugh at what I see. first, I wasn't even wearing that. Second, that's the back of someone's head, and third, It's quite clear that they are just pulling things from their ass now.

"Really" I scoff while looking up from the screen to meet his eyes.

"This is footage distorted, you can't even make this person out," I say while trying not to laugh. I can see the panic and annoyance in their eyes, why are they going to such measures to arrest me. At this point, I am sure that even the witness is fake.

"You know it's illegal to fabricate evidence, right? You guys are gonna be in so much trouble" I say as I sit up in my chair and let out a light laugh.

"What are you talking about," the leader says, and as if right on cue, the head of the chief bust right into the room in a fit of rage.

"Donghyuck, Sir I am very sorry for this," He says bowing politely. It seems as if Renjun and Jeno have both pulled through again. Good Job Renjun.

This is fun

"Oh no, it was just a misunderstanding, right?" I say as I look towards the two confused faces. The chief walks over to them and kick them both in their shins causing them to bend down in pain.

"Are you two stupid, I could lose my job because of this" He spits at them. He hastily runs back over to me.

"I am so very very sorry" he apologizes eagerly while bowing. Ugh, I hate people like him. So eager to look like the best and most apologetic person in the room.

"How is Mr. Jeno doing," He says patting my shoulder while leading me out the room. As I'm leaving I couldn't help but look over my shoulder and smirk at the lost faces. The looks on their face crack me up.

"He's doing great," I say as he leads me to the front of the station. Wow, Jeno has these people wrapped around his finger.

Once we reach the lobby I excuse him and I can instantly hear him beginning to yell curse words at the two. From the front window I can see Renjun waiting outside for me next to a car that belongs to none other than Jisung. I could really use a ride right now, my leg is in a horrible throbbing pain. I guess everybody pulled through tonight. But seriously why were they so eager to me? I may have won now but I can tell from the case that this wont be the last. They are definitely up to something, but what?

I make my way out the front door and Renjun runs up to me and helps me down the stairs

"Are you okay" He asks as he walks me slowly to the car.

"I'm fine and I see that you pulled through" I say while smiling down at him.

"Of course I did" He says as he opens the door for me and climbing in behind me.

"Ok we have some serious things that we need to talk about"
