hello lovely ghosties!!
so, um. i know that most of my readers probably have had their periods(if you don't have your period and your periods don't arrive later in life, AND you're below 10 years old, i don't know why you are on this app but okay, i won't judge, start young), so i decided to give period tips! my period arrived just this evening, so i shall offer tips to those who need it. as a person who has come from a very religious, "catholic" and homophobic school, periods, or topics that have anything to do with the body, are a very taboo subject. so here are some period tips for those who are facing the same situation as me, or haven't gotten their periods yet and want to know how it feels like!
period tips!!
tip 1: know the time of your period schedule
knowing the time of your period each month(vaguely) helps a lot. for example, my period arrives at around the 11-16th of each month. it can vary, for example, at the start of my period it would arrive around 21-25th of each month, then 9 months later it started on the 3rd of that month.
tip 2: know which days your period is the heaviest
this tip is especially useful if you have your period during school. it's important to know which day to bring more pads/tampons, stock up on period necessities, and the vigour of exercise to do each day. for example, my period is heaviest on days 2-3. it is useful to find out when you're going to find more than a bit of blood in your underwear.
tip 3: search for signs of your period
for me, the signs of my period is less discharge(more on that later), traces of blood, and the date(look above for more). it varies for each person. it's important to know the signs of your period so you can get ready in advance accordingly.
tip 4: loss of discharge
discharge is a clear milky fluid that looks slightly like c*m, but in smaller quantities in your underwear. this chart will give you more info!!
