Kili's POV
We all talked about getting to Erebor. I looked over to Lyra and Pema, Pema looked tired and pale...

Is she alright?

I don't think so, but she is refusing to let me check her.

I laughed silently, then looked out the window.

"Thorin...is that..."
"I haven't seen those in so long." Dwalin whispered.
"You know if this?" Bard wondered.
"The last time we saw a wind lance, the great city, Dale was burning down. When the dragon attacked. Arrow after arrow, Girion, Lord of Dale, shot."
"You speak as if you were there."
"All dwarves know the tale."

"Then you know that Girion shot a scale off, right under the left wing." Bard's boy stated.

Dwalin chuckled,"That's a fairy-story lad."

I stood with Fili. He was looking at Pema with much worry.

"You alright, brother?"
"I am, but Pema is not."
"I see. Lyra said-"

"We paid you, where're the weapons?" Thorin reminded Bard.

"Wait here." Bard whispered. Then he came back and set them on the table. We looked at them and they were junk!

"What's this?"
"A pike-hook, fashioned from an old harpoon."
"And this?"
"A crow bell, used to be a smithy's hammer." We threw them down on the table.
"We asked for weapons! Iron! Foe!"
"It's a joke!"

"You will not find better weapon except in the city armoury. It is in lock and key."

"I say we leave!"

You're not going anywhere! Every man and dog is watching."

"Thorin.." Balin spoke with Uncle softly. Bard then left, so we just sat around and talked.

Pema is affected by a morgûl shaft.

Can you help her?

I think so. But not now, we mustn't worry everyone else, especially Thorin and Fili.

I nodded softly and distracted Fili as we waited for action.

"Let's get going." Uncle said gruffly.

Lyra's POV
~hours later~
I sat next to Pema as she laid in the bed. She passed out earlier and is now getting some rest. Bard came back and looked in shock to only find us.

"Da! I tried to stop them!" Bain cried.
"How long have they been gone?!"

Minutes later, crashing was heard.

My arm went limp! Lyra, what's happen?!

You're still sore! That's what happened!

I sighed and put a hand over my face.
"I guess I have to check on them..." I whispered and heard commotion right outside. I got up, but was stopped.

"Help me up."
"Pema...no.
"I'm part of this company too, Ly."

I sighed and got her up. Then we went to the master's doors. People gathered round and I heard Dwalin announce.

"This is Thorin! Son of Thrain! Son of Thror!"

We got through the crowd and watched.

"Please, help us. If we do get into that mountain you can build Esgaroth 10 times!" Thorin announced, but Bard got through.

"Dragon-fire, and ruin! That is what will happen. Do you not forget what happened to Dale?! How it perished in the firestorm! Our town will be destroyed by the greed of a mountain king who cannot see past his own desire!"

"Let's not forget it was Girion, your ancestor, who failed to kill the beast!"

"Arrow after arrow he shot, missing its mark. But...who will vouch for this dwarf to prove he's worthy?"

"Me." Papa walked to the front,"I'll vouch for him. Now, I have travelled far with these dwarves through great danger, and if Thorin Oakenshield gives his word, then he will keep it."

Thorin smiled and patted papa's shoulder,"What do you say? Will you help us reclaim Erebor?"

"I say unto you...Welcome! Welcome!" The people cheered and rejoiced, but I felt weird inside. I saw Bard speak again.
"You have no right...no right to enter that mountain."
"I have the only right." Throrin responded."

I gave out a sharp breath and headed for Kili aimlessly. I was then embraced and looked up to see him with a serious face. Then we were led into the master's home to feast.
