Hey guys! So this is something I've been working on for a while now; it's a series that will contain multiple parts with both Stone and Ella's POV. I have most of the parts written, so I will be posting more frequently even though it is hellweek🤢
Short series was co-created with kaylasilverss
Adding in a little edit (I already wrote 9 parts of more than love and I feel like I need to say this.) Y'all have got to give this story some time. The description of this book says Valentine + Ella. That should be telling enough🏃♀️ I know the start of the story makes you want to stop reading but TRUST it's a slow burn but it burnsss😭

The sound of pots clanging in the kitchen jerked me awake, and I rubbed my sleepy eyes and squinted at the clock, cursing when I saw I had to be at work half an hour ago.
I slid out of bed and out of my lace white pajamas, pulling on a black bodycon dress, sheer black tights, black Demonias, followed by a fur black coat and a quick swipe of red lipstick.
I ran into the kitchen and grabbed a piece of toast off the oven, laughing when my fiancè pouted and swatted my hand away.
He grabbed onto my hips and pulled me to him, pressing a kiss on my lips and then smiling against them. "You look beautiful today."
I smiled back and pulled away. "Stop," I muttered jokingly, and then wolfed down the toast and grabbed my purse to leave. "I am late for work and I promised Eli I would have the full edited version of that bitch's debut last week."
Tyler frowned and leaned against the counter. "Why did you push for her story to be published if she treated you like shit?"
I shrugged and headed towards the door. "If someone can do a retelling of The Raven at sixteen years old and manage to get it through to one of the biggest publishing firms in the world, then the story is worth telling. I will just be sure to see that she gets a bad photographer for her author profile."
He laughed and inched to me to plant another kiss on my lips. "Have a good day sweetie. I'll be back from work around nine."
I groaned and twisted the door handle. "You know work is supposed to be 9-5, not 5-9."
He ran his fingers through my brunette hair and squeezed my shoulders. "How about I get a day off this week and we'll get dinner? Hm?"
I nodded and glanced at my watch before running out the door. "Bye!" I called back to him.
I was too lazy to wait for the elevator so I ran down the three flights, nearly tripping over the heels on my boots, and flew out into the Brooklyn streets, the cold air biting at my face like a wild dog.
I hurried to the subway station, being careful not to touch the railings, knowing that just last week someone had puked on them and that there was a small chance anyone had sterilized anything.
I waited for the 4 train impatiently, my headphones looped around my neck just in case anyone decided to talk to me and ask for money. Also in case someone decided to sneak up on me from behind and attack me, something that had happened to me twice already in the city.
I entered the train when it finally arrived, leaning against the door despite the sign saying not to, as the seats were all taken.
Brooklyn was very different than Santa Monica. There were no beaches, you had to travel to Coney Island for that, and even if, Coney Island was a trash dump, so I never did that. Which was something I was thankful for, obviously, because in Santa Monica avoiding beaches was extremely hard. Also, people were a lot more open about drugs in Brooklyn. And the cops, God, the cops, they would either be the ones selling you drugs or the ones killing you for looking at them wrong. Brooklyn was a strange fucking place.
