“Hi, I’m Kyle.” Kyle waved. “Shelby.” I waved back. “I know.” He replied. His blue eyes glimmered as the sun went over them. He was quite attractive actually. Apart from the amazing blue eyes, his black hair was so perfect, and he had an amazing smile nothing could beat. He had the cutest little dimples. I gave him a confused look. “Everyone knows you, plus you and Anika had the fight right in the middle of class, man was that priceless.” He laughed. I was beginning to like this kid. I just laughed back. I moved my hair out of my face and slowly looked up and saw Logan glaring at me. When he noticed he quickly looked away. “What happened?” Kyle questioned knocking me out of my thoughts. “He found out I liked this guy and I said rude things.” I replied. Wow, I used to be a closed book. Lock and key. No one could get in. But now, now everyone knows everything. I can’t be quiet. “It’s because he likes you.” Kyle told me. “What?” I whispered. No he doesn’t, no way in hell. He just nodded and smiled. “No.” I quickly shook my head. He gave me one last smile before writing again.

There was a knock at the door. “Shelby Dallas and Logan Trustscott.” A man with paper asked. I quickly got up, looked at Logan before walking out. “What’s this about?” Logan rudely asked. “I was informed that a student saw you two arguing after second period, then Shelby was caught physically hitting him before Logan shouted and stormed off.” The man told us. I looked at Logan confused. “What?” I practically shouted. “This is what I have been told, and I need to know if this is true?” He questioned. “That isn’t true.” I quickly replied. “Yes it is.” Logan replied. “What?” I shot him daggers. “I didn’t talk to this guy, so she got mad. She started yelling at me before hitting me.” Logan told the man. “Sir this isn’t true.” I told him. “Yes it is. Shelby admit it, I know you don’t want to get in trouble, but you can’t just lie.” Logan kept backing up his statement. “Sir trust me, I would never do this.” I told him, again, for like the 100th time. “I need to know the truth.” The teacher replied sternly. “Shelby.” Logan stated. I thought. I didn’t hit him. But I did? Crap, I’m in shit. “Okay, yes I hit him, but not hard and only as a joke. And I didn’t yell, I questioned him because he was being so rude, and I am sorry Logan, I never meant to hurt you or anything, I am terribly sorry.” I replied in a little girl apologetic voice. I need to get out of this. “Shelby you need to come with me.” The teacher, or whatever he was instructed. “Thank you Logan.” He told Logan before dismissing him and I had to follow him. AHH!!!!!

I looked at Logan before he just walked into the class. I was actually so mad at him. I went up to the principal’s office. He asked me questions and lectured before I got given afternoon detentions for the rest of the week. I walked out of the office and back to class. Everyone stared at me before I took my seat. I was over this, over everything. “Are you okay?” Kyle asked so sweetly. I just smiled at him waiting for the bell to go. As soon as it rang I grabbed my bag and tried to run off. Fortunately for me, I found Logan and his friends. Can’t wait. “Oh looky who we found.” One of his friends joked. “Josh, don’t.” Logan warned. So what? Now he’s sticking up for me. “Excuse me.” I barely whispered before walking away. Logan grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. “Can we talk?” He asked. “Now why would I do that?” I replied really sarcastically and rude, but I don’t care. “Please.” He begged. I saw his eyes; they were full of fear and sorrow. But I wasn’t going to bother; I’m not wasting my time. I shook my hand out of his grip before walking away.

I walked to the only place I felt safe. In Stefan’s arms. He hugged me tightly. His eyes full of worry as well. “Hey.” He whispered. “What’s wrong?” He continued. I just shook my head, not ready to talk.  “Please, it will help.” He repeated. I shook my head again. This time he let go of me. He pulled out his phone, typed a bit before hitting send. I was confused at the start, until my phone vibrated. A small smile appeared onto my face and I read the text message. ‘What’s wrong? x.’ “You said you didn’t want to talk.” He giggled. ‘Logan and I got into an argument.’ I replied before looking back up at him. ‘About? x.’ He keeps putting x’s and I’m not. ‘You x.’ ‘Me? x’ ‘Yes you, about him being so dog x.’ ‘Don’t worry about it x.’ ‘No it’s more than that. I have a week of after school detention that I can hardly do because I have to look after my little sister and brother, but Logan the dick head told some principal or whatever he is that I hit him, when yes okay I hit him, but I tapped not slapped. He twisted my words and now I’m in trouble.’ I ranted. He read the message, put the phone down and walked over to me and hugged me tightly. “If you like, after school I can go to your house and help your family, and pick you up after your detention is finished.” He asked so sweetly. Wow, he is so perfect it’s unfair. I just nodded.
