The hogwarts express

"Come on, James, there isn't much time!" Your mom says "we have to drive up to London!"

"Getting my trunk!" You shout from upstairs. As you haul it down the steps, you almost fall due to the excitement

"Is that everything?" Your mom asks

"Yes!" You say

"Robes? Books? Wand? Cauldron?" She asks

"Yes!" You repeat

Timeskip

"Mom, it says platform 9 and 3/4... there isn't a platform 9 and 3/4, right?" You ask

"Well, If memory serves... your father always said... ah!" your mom says, she points to a red headed woman, she runs in between platforms 9 and 10

"You can't be serious" you say "how?"

"Magic" your mom says "I'll push with you"

You both push your trolley into the wall, you go through it and end up on another platform. 9 and 3/4. You see a black and red train with the hogwarts express on it

"Gran, I've lost my toad again." A boy with a round face says

"Oh Neville..." an old woman with him says

You see Harry Potter and two red headed boys putting Harry's trunk in the train

"You should be getting on soon" your mom says, she helps you put your trunk on the train "James, one more thing. If you see Harry Potter, give him the cupcake in this bag" Your mom says as she gives you a brown bag "as a thank you for standing up against he-who-must-not-be-named"

"Okay... now what if, IF, I don't see him..." you joke

"Promise me you'll be good?" She asks

"I promise" you say, you hug her tightly

"I'll see you for the holidays" she says

As everyone gets on the train, you begin looking for a compartment, in one you see the blonde boy from madam malkins, but you walk past him before he recognizes you. In another you see the round faced boy, a blonde girl and a brunette that you've seen before, along with a boy you've never seen before

In another, you see a red headed boy and Harry Potter

"Hey, Harry" you say "so, every compartments full..."

"Come in" Harry says, you smile and sit down next to him

"I'm Ron Weasley" the red headed boy says

"I'm James l/n" you say, shaking his hand

"What's in the bag?" Harry asks

"Actually, a cupcake my mum made for you. She said it was a thank you for standing up against he-who-must-not-be-named" you explain as you give it to him, he takes it out and examines it awkwardly

"Who, Voldemort?" Harry asks

You and the red headed boy go silent as he says that

"You can't-" you say

"Sorry" Harry says as he takes a bite from the cupcake

"So... you really have the scar?" Ron asks

Harry pulls back his bangs and you see a lightning bolt shaped scar

"That's where you-know-who..." you ask

"Yes," Harry said "but I can't remember it"
