This is him during his first 2 years of hogwarts
Over the next few days, whenever you walked with Harry he'd duck out of sight as soon as he saw Lockhart. You noticed Lockhart looking at you funnily too. One day he called you in your office
"What do you wish to do, James?" He asked
"What do you mean?" You ask
"For a career. An auror perhaps? A writer? Or perhaps you wish to make a living off of being Witch Weekly's Most Charming Smile Award five times in a row" he smiles
"Does that even pay?... anyhow, I never gave it much thought" you said "maybe your Job would be nice"
"Defense against the dark arts is not an easy job, James" he said as he turned around "dangerous too, collecting all these dangerous beasts"
"Right, like pixies?" You smirk "you know what they say, the devils minions" you say
"Ah yes. Worse when you discover a colony of them" he said
"How much is a colony? Half a class full?" You asked
"That business in class was a teaching experience that you and your friends could learn from. You all passed with flying marks" he smiled
"What did you call me in for professor?" You ask
"Just wanted to ask about one of my top students" he said
"One of them?" You said "who's the top student?"
"Your friend Harry, of course" he said
"Harry?" You say, a bit annoyed "good for him. Why not call him in here?" You ask
"Because I see potential in you" he said "and I just want to guide you in the right direction"
"I think im doing well but I'll be sure to tell you as soon as I need guidance" you say
"Good." He smiled
Timeskip
You hear heavy footsteps coming into the dorm, you look at the clock and see its 6 in the morning
"That better not be you, Colin!" You said as you opened your four poster beds sheets, only to see not Colin but Oliver wood standing in front of you "wood! Looking for Harry?" You said, pointing at his bunk
"Thanks!" He said "you coming down to watch training today?" He asked
"Maybe later" you say, he nodded and went to harry, you heard shaking wand then
"Whassamatter?" said Harry groggily.
"Quidditch practice!" said Wood. "Come on!"
"Oliver," Harry groaned. "It's the crack of dawn."
