The burrow

It was summer, and life was horrible. You tried tuning out your mum but nothing worked you were tempted to cast a silencing charm... or the full body bind, but you you'd be risking your return to hogwarts. It was fun at the start of the break, when you were able to talk to Hermione and Penny on the phone, your mum didn't want you on the phone so she didn't let you touch it. She kept saying how you were "plotting with your magic friends"... You wrote letters to everyone, you enjoyed getting them back. Except Harry wasn't writing

It's been so long, I might actually be starting to miss you, if you could believe it. How's your aunt doing? Also, my mum keeps asking if your mum has done anything, but I don't get why. Hermione managed to come by for a day, we had so much fun! I wish you could come too, but I suppose we'll all see eachother at Ron's house anyways, won't we?

Well I won't be missing you any time soon. My aunt is doing amazing, she's been with Rowan Khanna a lot. Tell your mum that mum hasn't been doing much, she's just there doing what she does. When are we going to Ron's house? I don't believe he gave me a date, that troll. Have you wrote to hermione? She said something about meeting at Diagon alley, but I forgot the date

How is summer camp? I was actually very surprised to see this letter from you. Isn't it all muggle? I suppose a owl coming by every night isn't TOO suspicious, I mean muggles miss people coming through a wall so an owl won't alert anyone

Knock knock knock

"I got it!" You say as you walk down the stairs, you see a red headed woman, and a red headed boy who you recognize as Ron Weasley, from hogwarts

"Ron!" You say "I didn't realize you were coming this early" you say as you hug him

"What? I said it in my letter, didn't you get it" Ron says

"No I didn't" you say "it's that owl of yours, almost died on its last trip here crashing into my room!"

"James, who's this?" Your aunt asks

"This is my friend, Ron Weasley, from the train?" you say

"I hope we're not disturbing. Rons been so excited for his friends to come to the house" Ron's mum says "I'm Molly weasley"

"Oh, that's right you are going to stay there for the summer" she smiles "James, are you ready to go?"

"Yeah, my trunks upstairs, I had it prepared just incase" you say, you and Ron immediately run upstairs

"This is your room?" He asks

"Yeah. Not much" You say as you see the bed, the book shelf and the desk. You grab your trunk and come downstairs

"Promise you'll be good at the weasleys?" Your aunt asks, you nod "make sure you write" she says, you nod again and walk outside of the house with Ron and his dad. He enters a blue ford Angelia, you and Ron enter in the back seats

Timeskip

The car drives closer to a house, it looks as if it were a sort of pigpen at first, but then extra rooms were added until it was several stories high and so crooked, it was only being held up by magic. You notice four chimneys perched on top of the red roof. There was a lopsided sign stuck in the ground near the entrance that read "the burrow". You left the car and looked around and saw several fat brown chickens pecking their way around the yard, rubber boots and a very rusty cauldron in front of the door
