The Start of Something New

Chapter 2

" I'll write to the kids when we get in there I'll introduce you to everyone" tony said. I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited to meet all the avengers. We started to walk in and Tony told us to wait here and he left through a door. After a few minutes he called Peter first. I gave Peter a hug and told him good luck as he walked into the room. I stood there anxiously waiting for Tony to call me in.

"Gigi, you can come in now!" Tony called from the room. Gigi was the little nickname Peter told Tony to call me. I knew Peter would do that cuz he calls me Gracie boo. And he likes to make fun nicknames for me. But I absolutely hate it being called grace. My umm parents called me that and when they started to do bad things and leave me alone to fend for myself I grew to despise that name. I now pushed big doors open to see people just staring at me. I saw that Peter was already sitting down next to Captain American.

"Hi everyone, I'm Gracie, it's nice to meet you," I said with a smile. I looked over at Peter and he started laughing at me because of how nervous I was. I looked at Tony for approval to get and beat the shit out of Peter and he just gave me a nod with a smile. " Peter I would shut up before I go over there and beat your ass" then everyone looked shocked one moment. I was a sweet little girl now I was a tiger who was about to kill Peter. But Peter being Peter didn't stop laughing.so I smiled and walked over to Peter and slapped him in the face.

"Ow that hurt," Peter said, holding his cheek.

"No really I didn't know that a slap would hurt" I said laughing as I sat next to him, and a man with black slick hair and really fancy clothes.

"Oh I like her" I slowly turned my head to see Thor and Loki.

"Yeah not going to happen." I got up and sat on the other side of the cap and sat next to a man with a mental arm.

"Hey, I'm Bucky. Nice to meet you." He said while sticking his hand out to shake mine. To be honest he was kinda charming.

"Hi im gracie but i guess you already know that....anyway it's nice to meet you too," I said, shaking his hand. Then I met everyone else. It was really fun meeting the avengers.

"May I ask what is it that you do?" Thor asked me.

" Do you have any powers?" Wanda asked me.

"Nope I'm not special like you guys" I said with a smile.

"Then why are you here?" Loki said with a smirk on his face. I'm pretty sure that he was trying to make me feel worse about myself but I can play that game too.

"Why are you here, shouldn't you be in a cell somewhere you know is trying to take out our world. I'm here to help. I have no idea why you're here with your greasy ass hair. Why don't you do us all a favor and go wash it." He just sat there shocked.

"Well then we have a mission, '' Tony said changing the subject. Now I can tell you what I can do. I don't have any special powers but I know how to fight and shoot a gun and I have a lot of knives and stuff like that. I don't go anywhere without them. I'm not going to spend a lot of time on the mission, it wasn't all that important. We and Peter worked together great. After the mission we went to the compound.

"If you guys want to say here you can" tony said as we walked through the door. Me and Peter looked at each other and a big grin grew on my face.

"Do you think May will mind?" I asked pulling out my phone to call May.

" No, I think she'll be fine with us staying at Stark Tower for a little while," he put the finger quotes around Stark Tower, because of course we weren't there.

"Hey May Soo our internship may last longer than we expected we are probably going to be staying here for a while if that's ok with you"

"Oh that's great girly you and Peter can stay there as long as Mr. Stark wants you to!" May said with so much excitement in her voice.

"Ok thanks may love you I'll talk to you later oh and Peter loves you too!" I said hanging up and I walked to the bathroom. I closed the door and slowly lifted up the side of my shirt to reveal a big bruise along my ribs. I winced from the pain then all of a sudden the door opened. Loki stood there looking at me. I quickly dropped the side of my shirt.

"OI WHAT THE HELL!!!! GET OUT!!" I yelled my face was red with embarrassment. I just stood there awkwardly and Loki looked me up and down and a weirdly charming smirk then a sigh.

"Are you blushing?" He said almost in a mocking tone, "Well it looks like you are a little excited to see me!" I knew what he was trying to do but two can play that game. I looked at him and smiled. I slowly walked toward him without saying anything. I got close to his face and put my hand on the side of his neck.

I giggled to myself as Loki stood there like a dope.

"Hi doll, what are you laughing at?" Bucky said with a raise of an eyebrow.

"Oh nothing, just the face that Loki .... Nevermind it's not important," I didn't tell him cuz well I don't really want Loki to get yelled at for walking in on me in the bathroom. Then Peter came and gave me a hug from the back squeezing too hard on the bruise on the side of my body.

"OW Peter let me go, that hurts!" I snapped, Peter quickly let me go looking like he had just seen a ghost.

"Omg I'm so sorry I didn't mean to hurt you!! What's wrong?" He practically yelled at the fact that I was hurt.

"Hurt?! Who's hurt?" Steve said, walking over to us. I looked at Peter, smiled and punched him in his arm.

"Ow!"

"He is." I said and walked away. But Steve stopped me.

"What's wrong?" He said as if he wasn't going to let me go unless I told him. I rolled my eyes and lifted the side of my shirt to show a giant bruise.

"It's just a bruise, I'm fine." I said, forcing a smile.

"Omg nice bruise!" Nat said as she walked by.

"Well it's fine, later I'll just put an ice pack on it I'll be fine."

"Ok if you say so"
