Tyler wandered around aimlessly through the gardens. He did not have any classes, and he did not have any free friends, so he was at a loss as to entertainment. Though he woke hours ago, he felt disoriented, he was still waiting for his body to catch with his brain. He was still trying to piece together the events of yesterday. He remembered the shy, adorable girl from the coffee shop, who had changed in a blink of an eye. One minute she was hiding behind her friend, begrudgingly greeting him. The next she was in attack mode, scolding him for an interaction they did not even have. He would give anything to meet her again, something about her had sparked his intrigue. His first stop was the coffee shop this morning, after an hour he gave up, figuring she was like lightening and never struck twice. Then he remembered she was a girl, but after ten seconds of loitering around in front of the girl's dorm, he snapped out of his daze and removed himself from the premises. Which brought him to the present, wandering around aimlessly through the gardens.

He was about to cut his loses, and use this rare opportunity of no responsibility to find inspiration for his major work. But, then he heard the rustle of leaves being disturbed, in his vicinity. Snapping his neck in the direction of the sound, he had to shake his head and blink a few times to make sure he was not hallucinating. Alas, the figure was still there once he had opened his eyes, clear, irrefutable evidence that he was not in fact not hallucinating. Which led to him trying to calculate, though poorly, the chances of this occurrence that had befallen him. A moment later, he realised he was being foolish, and that he should not shoot a gift horse in the mouth. With actions worthy of being featured in any 'Looney Tunes' episode, Tyler scrambled to pack up his belongings, and made a mad dash for the figure that was quickly disappearing behind the flora that surrounded them all.

"Sup pretty lady, haven't seen seen you in ages." Confused Misty looked around, to see if there was anyone around her that Tyler could be addressing.

"If you are talking to me, you literally saw me yesterday." Misty answered, still continuing to scan the area, for any other potential conversation buddies. Misty thought everything had gone back to normal. At the coffee shop they had engaged in tolerable conversation, but now Misty saw it was all wishful thinking.

"No I didn't. Trust me, I treasure every minute spent with a rare specimen as yourself."

"You make me sound as though I'm some culture on a petri dish." Misty said unimpressed, one eyebrow raised in confusion. Tyler was acting out of character and it was unnerving. She had lulled herself into a false sense of security, and now she was left with dopey Tyler. Misty did not like it one bit.

"Ha, you're hilarious. I like you." Tyler laughed, throwing his arm over Misty's shoulder. This caused her to curl up into herself, as though she were turtle in the midst of danger. Seeing as though he did not care for her comfort, or he was just dense. Misty forced herself to relax, because it was clear she was not getting rid of his arm anytime soon.

"Are you okay? Not going to fall into a seizure again?" Misty asked.

"Oh yeah, yesterday morning. What happened after that, everything's a blur." Misty stared up at Tyler, blinking periodically as she tried to assess the seriousness of his question. Did he really not remember, or did he just wake up and decide to put on 'annoying' as his personality? "What?" Tyler asked, becoming uncomfortable under Misty's blank stare. It was one thing that she spoke like an android, he did not need her acting like one too. He was not in the right frame of mind to take on that kind of dramatic reveal in stride.

"You don't remember going to hospital, or to the 'Three Amigos'?"

"The three what?"

"The 'Three Amigos'. It's a Mexican restaurant." Misty said slowly, as though the pace of her speech would affect Tyler's understanding.

"Whatever it is, I never heard of it before today. Also, you can speak at a normal pace, I'm not slow." Tyler frowned. Misty just huffed, and tried to school her emotions. But, she could feel her facial muscles contorting, and before she knew it she was sporting a disbelieving expression. At least she had enough willpower to stop her eyes from rolling. "What's that face for?" Tyler asked, shaking her head Misty refused to acknowledge his question with a reply. Instead she, threw his arm off her shoulder and continued on her journey to the library, whilst muttering to herself in absolute disbelief. "No seriously, what's the face for? Not gonna answer? Fine then, where are you going?"

Again, she favoured ignoring him. Hoping like a kid with a new toy, he would soon lose interest. Misty could not believe the affect Tyler was having on her, considering they hardly knew each. But, never had she thrown her feet down so heavily in her life, that she could describe herself as stomping. But it seemed there was a first for everything. After walking a few metres, she could still hear the steady footfalls behind her, making her heart race unsteadily despite knowing who was following her. Tired of the sick feeling in her stomach and eyes piercing the back of her head, Misty accepted the fact that she was not going to lose her tail anytime soon. Coming to an abrupt stop, she turned her head to look at Tyler, "what about the lunch, yesterday afternoon with our friends?"

Tyler lifted his hand in a bear with me kind of way. Shaking her head, Misty walked off knowing already what his answer was going to be. She did not miss the yell that followed her however, or the thundering feet. "Oh come on!"
