"You still have the book?" Misty asked, surprised. From the fight he had put up when she had gotten it for him, she thought he would have thrown it away the first chance he got.

"You mean the diary, slash journal, slash whatever is manly?" Tyler asked, as he held the book up.

"Yes, the diary, slash journal, slash whatever is manly."

"To be honest, it's grown on me. Plus, it's our last day of Uni, and it felt wrong graduating without it. After all, Tyler 2.0 did do half of the work." Tyler explained. Yes, it was true that he was finished with the book, having written his last entry and all. However, he felt that the only way to truly solidify his goodbye to this particular chapter in his life, was with the book in his possession. The only to explain it was; 'a deep impulse.'

"Well I know for sure, that we've officially become, the one's to hate to love, and love to hate. Sorry Stanley and Rebecca, but you've been dethroned." Misty announced as they left the gallery. She still did not know how to articulate her feelings towards Tyler's work, and his art description had made the words retreat further into the crevices of her mind. So, Misty decided to change the subject, but still kept a firm grip on Tyler's hand.

"So, that's what this was; a coup."

"Obviously, I'm surprised you didn't see the signs from the start." Tyler chortled at their silliness. He was over the moon to see how far Misty had come, in terms of social ques. Yes, she was still blunt at the most inconvenient moments. But, she would not be the Misty he had come to know and like if that were not the case.

"Come on, let's return our gowns before we forget," Tyler urged, with a squeeze of Misty's hand.

"Now that's it's over, I don't really have this overwhelming sense of relief you know?" Misty admitted, as she watched the different students milling about. Some like her had finished another chapter in their lives, and others were just beginning. Their fresh, green faces, a stark contrast compared, to the tired one's of seasoned academics.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean... there's like this void, this emptiness." Misty attempted to explain herself, gently pulling her hand out of Tyler's grip so it could the other one, on her chest. "I threw my cap with such happiness, but my smile was gone before it even touched the ground. And it's funny, cause Uni has just been this little stop over, my whole life until..." She trailed off, turning to look at Tyler, whom she had left behind by a couple of steps.

It was a telling gaze that she bestowed upon him, one with clear intentions. In fact, she believed it was the first unguarded look she had given anyone outside her immediate family. She hoped he could see what she was trying to convey. Because, despite her being an English/ English Literature major, she was never one to know how to express how she feels.

"Aren't you the least bit happy?" Tyler asked softly, not wanted to break the atmosphere that had settled around them.

"Don't get me wrong, I am so happy. Like I was so scared, because this was never something I thought to attempt. I'm a novelist, not a renaissance poet. Even though none of it was really poetry in my book. But, to get such positive responses, and several opportunities to publish, I am over the moon. However, it's occurred to me there's something I'm more excited about. are you coming?" Misty finished of coyly, whilst turning around to continue their walk.

"Don't leave me in suspense!"

The desperate yell, caused Misty to giggle. Only cementing the truthfulness of the revelation she was about to reveal. "I'm more excited, to us. Us in a different setting. And, I know that you're still exactly the same person but, now that there's no more fluid in your brain, I feel like I have to start learning about all over again. So yeah, I'm very excited about what the future holds for u-- are you coming?" Misty asked, the beaming smile on her face doing absolutely nothing to hide her unadulterated joy.

The sight caused Tyler to stop for a moment, as he stared at the girl in front of him. From where he was standing, the sunlight framed her image perfectly, casting a soft glow around her. It seemed as though she were in high definition, and he was watching a scene from a movie. A scene when the beautiful girl turns her head in slow motion, and everything around her just fades.

Yes, Tyler could not help but stop for a moment, and stare at the ethereal sight before him. It seemed as though the moment had gone on forever but, it was just a split second before he came back down from his high. Only to realise that Misty was taking the moment with her, the further she got from him, with the expectation that he would follow her to their destination. Looking at the words that Tyler 2.0 had confessed, he could not help but agree. So, he decided to voice his agreement to the revelation his other half had, had.

Pen in hand, he quickly bolded out and capitalised the words his counterpart had written, circling around them to give them more emphasis. Smiling and pleased with his work, he stumbled over his feet, as he rushed to catch up with the girl, he sure he would spend the rest of his life following.
