( 2 Years Later...)
December 13th, 2054...

Today in the town of GraceField it was quiet and cold outside, winter was here and snow was going to come soon. Only a few citizens were out and about to go Christmas shopping while others were staying home and waiting abit longer before actually decorating for ChRiStMaS.

One of the citizens was Ash of course. Ash was now 20 years old and in college but, public college. There was a small college here at GraceField and Ash is ur couldn't leave his hometown. Not because he would miss it if he did, no, Ash was still here because something was holding him back......

Riley....

Ash was worried for his ex-boyfriend. Ash and Riley are still friends of course but, they broke up a year ago, with everything going on and everything they missed.......they were struggling in life. To make things worse they just began their lives. Ash and Riley lived in a small apartment together as roommates so, they could have eachother's backs.

Riley was also 20 years old but, Riley hasn't signed up for college yet because he wasn't doing well......he hasn't been eating right and was starting to grow skinny, he was starving himself. Riley had started to go to therapy sessions and to the doctor of course and Ash has been helping him eat but, only small things.

Why was Riley acting like this?

Well, if you read this book and seriously don't know then your stupid. Here's a list anyways, Riley's family had passed 3 years ago, life was going too fast, Ray was still missing, everyones falling apart, he learned that Oliver, Emma, and 4 of Norman's adopted siblings had also passed 2 years ago, Norman didn't live here anymore with them, Don and Gilda had been avoiding him and Ash lately for reasons-Everything had changed horribly when Riley was in a coma.

Ash was currently buying Christmas decorations while, Rylie stayed home. Rylie was currently laying in his bed, staring at the ceiling with a dull look.

'Why did everything have to change?' Was the question that kept going on and on in Rylie's head. Rylie rolled over and layed on his side in his bed and looked over at the window as he pulled the covers up to where it covered his mouth.

Rylie smiled a tiny bit when he saw snow outside his window, slowly coming down from the sky, it was snowing abit. Rylie remembered how his family would hold a Christmas bash for the whole town when winter came but...........yeah. Rylie frowned abit at that, his mom, his dad, his younger twin siblings didn't exist anymore.

( yeah, I think I'm obsessed with twins-)

Suddenly, Rylie heard the front door to the apartment open and Ash's happy voice, "I'm back!" Ash had shouted. Rylie then carefully got up from his bed.

Ash took his shoes, scarf, and sweater off and put the boxes of Christmas decorations and groceries from the market down on the counter. Ash smiled when he saw Rylie come over slowly.

Riley sat down in one of the chairs by the counter and looked up at Ash dully while, Ash smiled back down at him before speaking, "I got Christmas decorations, Christmas cookies and donuts that were on sale and guess what!? I got StarBucks~" Ash said happily to which Riley just blinked.
