Riley is definitely a Jason Derulo fan. Periodt.
Why? Because Riley was the first character I thought of when I was making this chapter while, listening to "Jalebi Baby" by Tesher and Jason Derulo. Yea, Riley is definitely the type to listen to Jason Derulo when I really think about it 😌 💅

Back In GraceField....

"Th-This....THIS IS CRAZY!!!" Ash shouted as he watched Riley walk through the rows of boats, trying to decide which boat they should stea-borrow. Ash stood there holding two big bags that held there luggage, wearing a thick coat since it literally felt like AnTaRtIcA hErE-

"Well, 'crazy' is my middle name!" Riley answered his bestfriend quietly as he grinned when he found the perfect speed-boat that they were going to take. Riley then frowned when he saw the boat was chained.

"Right now is not the time for jokes or memes!" Ash warned as his heart started to beat fast in panic. What if they got caught....or worse?

"Raccoon Boy, stop worrying" Riley said quietly as he grabbed something to break the chain that kept the speed boat. Ash quickly turned to look at Riley with a glare.

"Excuse meh!?" Ash shouted offended at the nickname Riley had just given him. Riley had successfully broke the chain after a minute and smiled before, turning over to look at Ash.

"Hey, it's not my your eyes are kind of shaped like a raccoon's" Riley answered quietly as he lifted his hands up and shrugged. Ash pouted a bit at that before, shaking his head and sighing.

"Whatever, just....we need to hurry before we end up getting caught okay?" Ash said as he then walked over to the other male, Riley stood up and put his hands on his hips.

"It's okay, I'm kinda scared too but, we got this! Everything will be fine!" Riley reassured as he grabbed the bags out of Ash's hands almost falling from how weak he was, Ash looked at Riley with a bit of worry. Is it really okay to take Riley on this mission to save Ray and the others?

Riley had finally gotten the bags in the boat and gestured for Ash to hop in the boat. Ash nodded and hopped in. Before Rylie could power the speed boat on though, they suddenly heard someone coming. Both males stared right at eachother in fear.

Meanwhile, the guard that worked at the 'Boat Shed' where everyone either bought or borrowed boats, had a flashlight in hand and was walking over to the place where they stored all the boats because, he heard talking coming from there. The guard held a serious look on his face as he walked.

Suddenly, the guard heard a noise and moved his flashlight quickly in the direction he heard the noise, only to see a 20 year old male (Ash) come out of the shed slowly. "HANDS UP!" The guard shouted to which Ash quickly put his hands up.

"Listen....uh" Ash started as he glances over at the guards name tag. Jeff. "Jeff. Listen Jeff, it's not what you think-I was just looking at the boats and uh...." Ash cussed at himself in his mind as he saw the guard's expression getting angrier and angrier.

"What the hell do you think your doing breaking into the boat she'd huh?" The guard growled out making Ash sweat drop as he prayed nothing bad would happen.

Ash glanced back at the boat shed where Riley was before, glancing back at the guard. Ash sighed quietly, 'I can't believe I'm about to do this....' Ash thought to himself embarrassed.

Ash gasped loudly as he pointed in the direction behind the guard, "Oh my god! Is that Arianna Grande!?" Ash shouted making the guard turn around and look behind him to try and find Arianna Grande.

"What!? Where!?" The guard shouted before turning back around to see the 20 year male running at sonic speed. The guard, Jeff noticed that Ash had lied and got really pissed. Jeff the guard then started running after Ash.

"HOLY SHIT! YOUR LIKE A FUCKING BULL!!!" Ash screamed as he ran, Ash had noticed the guard was already on his tail, that quick. Ash wouldn't be surprised if this guards spirit animal was a bull. "RILEY! HEEEEELLLPPP!" Ash screamed as he ran, the guard right behind him, trying to catch him.

The whole side of the boat barn then fell off as a speed boat crashed through and out of the barn. On the speed boat was Riley, controlling it as he laughed like a maniac after crashing through the barn. "HELL YEAH!" Riley shouted as the speed boat then landed in the water with a big splash and quickly turned, zooming really quick near Ash's direction.

Ash's eyes widened as he watched the speed boat come toward him. Ash had to jump to get on. Ash gave himself encouraging words in his mind as he ran, ignoring the pissed off guard behind him before, leaping off land and right into the speed boat, the guard followed him but, hit the waters instead. Oopsie.

Ash clutched the cloth of his coat over his heart with wide eyes as his heart beated fast. Ash couldn't believe that just happened, he litterly leap-frogged into a zooming speed boat.....

Riley turned to glance at Ash and smiled wide. "Did you even see how high you jumped!?" Riley shouted back to Ash as he drove the speed boat. Riley couldn't believe his best friend had just did that and was quite impressed. Ash just shook his head at Riley and just tried to steady his breathing.

Rylie laughed, "Raccoon? Leap Frog? My god Ash, your a whole damn zoo at this point" Rylie said with a big smile. Ash just laughed back at that before, turning around to look back at their hometown, GraceField slowly fade away from the night fog as they zoomed away. Luckily, the waters weren't frozen yet from the snow or else they'd be screwed.

"Goodbye GraceField...." Ash said quietly to which Rylie heard and frowned a bit before, shaking his head and smiling.

"Shut up Ash, we're coming back! We just gotta deal with all this shit first" Rylie said, Rylie was pumped up eversince they started this mission.

"Right...." Ash said quietly as he turned around and sat down properly in thought. ".....do you think we're doing the right thing though? Like, what if this is a trap and we don't come back? What if we both end up dead?" Ash explained quietly as he looked up at Rylie with a serious expression, he was staring at Rylie's back instead since Rylie was turned around driving the boat.

Rylie was quiet for a moment before speaking, "We will come back ok? No one is gonna die, we'll all come back safe and sound and then....we can all live a normal life together" Rylie answered as he focused on the waters.

"Promise?" Ash asked quietly as he tilted his head a bit with a curious expression on his face.

"I Promise"

Ash and Norman are definitely Lil Nas X fans. That's for damn sure. They both be rocking out to "MONTERO", " INDUSTRY BABY", and "THAT'S WHAT I WANT" every damn day-ugh 😩
