Norman may look and act like he isn't tough but, behind that mask is a monster.

"Here's your Vanilla latte and cheesecake" one of the workers said as they gave me my stuff to which I nodded. I grabbed the fork I had and began to take small bites of my cheesecake as I watched Norman and the dude wrestle. I knew this was gonna take awhile for, we were in public and Norman couldn't fight like how he really does, if he did the dude would be dead right now, his guts would be everywhere....

(Speaking of Vanilla lattes-The Vanilla Lattes at my school be bussin✨........no, we are not a rich school just because we get lattes, cocoa, and coffees. We are very poor okay! My school is just creative but, stupid at the same time-😤)

Norman punched the dude in the face, making the dude fall to the ground as more blood dripped from his broken noise and the crowd cheered for Norman. I just watched bored, Norman and this dude have been fighting each other for almost 5 minutes. Yes, Norman was winning even though he wasn't even trying. Norman only had a few bruises while, the dude had bruises, a broken nose, arm, and now-

"AHHHHH!"

-leg. I honestly felt bad for the dude a bit when I saw Norman break his leg, I feel that dude there. Norman breaking your leg is a horrible feeling, it's like the sound of breaking a pencil but the feeling.....its just horrible. I remember having a broken leg 2 years ago and had a broken leg for about 5-6 months (I forgot how long it is for someone to have a broken leg and I'm to lazy to search-) then about a few months after the broken leg, I got my arm broken by Norman for attempting to uh.........kill him? Yeah, let's just say throwing a toaster in the bathtub while, Norman's in there taking a bath didn't go as planned-

I didn't really feel bad when Norman broke the dudes arm, I mean, yeah it hurts like hell but, not as bad as a leg.

Norman grinned as he saw the dude on the ground, struggling to get up. I could literally see in Norman's eyes, how much he wanted to slit this dude's throat and finish the job but, once again he couldn't for he was in public. Norman felt my stare and turned in my direction and smirked when he saw me staring at him. Norman then winked before, walking over to the dude on the ground and dragging him, making everyone cheer.

I couldn't help but feel flustered at that......it was pretty damn attractive......sigh, if only he wasn't a psychopath.

Norman then threw the dude to the otherside of the room, making the dude's head slam hard into the ground. Norman then walked over in front of the man and kicked him hard in the face, making me cringe as I heard the dude help loudly and saw some of his teeth clang against the floor with some blood. I suddenly didn't feel hungry for my cheesecake anymore after I saw that.

I then, saw Norman grab the dude's hair hard and start dragging him again but, this time he was dragging the dude over to...me!? I flinched as Norman was getting closer and closer to me as he dragged the dude by his hair over to me, some of the dude's blood from his mouth and nose dripping to the floor as he was dragged by Norman. My eyes widened when Norman stopped in front of me and dropped the man in front of my feet, the crowd of people that watched the whole fight, now crowding around me, Norman, and the dude to see what was gonna happen next. They were all pretty much huddled together in a circle around us, I hated it because, I don't like to be in closed spaces with 'people'.

"N-Norman, what are you doing?" I asked quickly but, quietly. I really didn't like the look of this, I was fine with them being across the room but, here? Hell no.

Norman just smiled at me softly before, slamming his foot onto the dude's back hard and pulling his hair, making his head look up at me as the dude yelped in pain, Norman just shook his head with a grin at that. "Now, I want you to apologize to my darling for the stupid move you did to him you jackass" Norman shouted to the dude, the dude flinching in fear as he looked up at me in fear.

The room went silent for a moment.

"APOLOGISE DAMN IT!" Norman shouted as he lifted his foot up a bit, threatening to cause more pain to the dude if he did not cooperate. The dude flinched.

"I-I'm sorry! I'll never do it again! I-I swear!" The dude shouted to me in fear as I just looked down at the dude with wide eyes. I could tell the dude was telling the truth and probably after this, the dude would never do what he did to me, to any male/female/person ever again. Especially, after suffering the wrath of Norman.

"Good job!" Norman said with a smile as he then kicked the dude in the side, making the dude roll away from Norman in pain from the kick. "Now, if I ever see your face again or ever see you around my kitten, you may never see another day" Norman said to which the dude nodded and quickly left the place. Everyone just laughed at what Norman just said as they watch the dude quickly run while I on the other hand didn't........probably because, I knew Norman was telling the truth, he would kill that man if he saw his face again.

See? Remember when I told you about how it was just lies about this place being safe? Well, here is your example. No one even stopped the fight. The outside of this place may look like this place is kept safe but, on the inside it's just not.

I flinched when I felt Norman wrap his arms around my shoulder in a small hug and placed his head on my shoulder. I felt him put a small kiss on my neck before snuggling my neck a bit. "I love you" Norman said quietly as he hugged me a bit tighter. I looked down at the ground with a frown before answering.

"I love you too"

I know it was short but, I'll maybe post another chapter tomorrow. I'm just showing some free chapters like this before, the story starts up again. I'm still planning what's gonna happen basically like, I already have future events planned but the 'now' events are still being planned 😂😅
After next chapter, I'll probably show Riley and Ash getting ready to come to Gold Pond. So yeah, I'm basically showing some character development and giving the characters a little break before the serious stuff starts up again because, I'm still planning. I hope you enjoyed this chapter tho :)

Also, what character/characters do you guys want to see more of? It would help me out a bit to plan out 'now' events that will happen in upcoming chapters to connect to future events if, you answer this question ✨✨✨
