Juliette's House

A beautiful melody played in Juliette's room as she played her violin in front of her mother, sweat beginning to drip down her forehead as she felt pain in her arms from how long she had been playing. Almost 3 hours. Juliette wasn't aloud to stop playing until she played the music piece right. Finally, she had finished the music piece for the 234th time today, she wasn't gonna smile in relief though, not until her mother says she done, not until her mother says she played it perfectly.

Juliette didn't look up as her mother walked over and circled her slowly, staring at her with sharp eyes. "Hm" Juliette heard her mother him as she stopped right in front of her. Juliette could literally smell the cigarette her mother had in her mouth currently, the smell was horrible and she had to smell that disgusting smell for almost 3 hours as she played the violin. Torture. This was all torture in Juliette's opinion.

"Sloppy" her mother suddenly said, making Juliette look up at her with a frown. "Your posture is all wrong! Your slouching! No slouching! Because of your slouching you played some of the notes wrong!" Juliette's mother shouted and groan in annoyance.

"I apologize mother, please forgive me" Juliette said quietly to which her mother sighed and shook her head.

"Your forgiven, we'll practice more tomorrow, for now get ready for dinner, your father will be home in abit" Juliette's mother said before walking out of the room.

Juliette grabbed her violin case and put her violin away, making sure that the case was closed securely before setting the case in her closet. Juliette had a frown upon her face as she went to sit on her bed. She had disappointed her mother again, later her father because her mother will tell him.

Juliette sighed as she layed back in her bed and looked up at her bedroom ceiling. "Come on Julie, it's not like their abusing you or not taking care of you, their just very strict" Juliette said quietly before smiling a small smile.

'See, it's not all that bad, they're just trying to make you the perfect girl. The best as they say' Juliette thought quietly, 'They just want what's best for you'.

Suddenly, the doorbell to her family home's front door rang making Juliette jump. 'Who could be here at this time!?' Juliette thought as she went to her bedroom window and peeked outside.

Seth and Mia.

Her two friends stood outside her family house, waiting for someone to answer the door. Juliette then opened her window. "What the heck are you guys doing here!?" Juliette shouted to which Seth and Mia looked up at her quickly at the sound of her voice.

"Julie! We're sorry! Were you just heading to bed?" Seth shouted up to her to which Juliette quickly shook her head 'no' in answer.

"No, I was just getting prepared for dinner actually! Why are you guys here at this time anyways?" Juliette then said to which Seth laughed nervously and scratched the back of his neck.
