The following morning, Flynn was straightening her tie and packing her bag for classes. Then once ready for the day, she heads downstairs to have her usual breakfast of a cup of tea and a slice of buttered toast.

Flynn had never been one for eating much in the mornings, so even the single slice of toast was a little much. But when she had first started at Anum Academy, her housemates and housemother worried about her not eating, so she learned to stomach a slice of toast to ease the worries of those around her.

When Flynn came downstairs Jerome and Fabian were already at the table. She promptly made her cup of tea and found her usual seat next to Jerome. She then began to make her slice of toast just the way she liked it. Flynn and Jerome held a small conversation as she did this to fill the unnatural silence of the room. Next Amber and Mara filed in and went to their preferred seats. Amber is next to Flynn and Mara across from Jerome.

Patricia came in next she had stopped at the kitchen grabbing a plate of pastries off the counter before coming to the dining table. "Joy definitely would have called by now! I'm telling you, something has happened to her." Patricia says handing the plate over to Jerome as she made her way to her seat at this head of the table.

"Patricia give it a break, you're driving me crazy," Jerome piped up as he passed the plate around the table.

"Thank God, I thought I was the only one, who has had enough of this topic," Flynn says slowly sipping her warm tea.

"Jerome! Some of us are worried aboutJoy even if you're not. And I thought you were supposed to be her friend Flynn?" Mara says shocked by their responses.

Flynn chose to ignore Mara's stab toward her. Just because she wanted Patricia to shut the hell up about Joy disappearing, didn't mean that she wasn't Joy's friend. Nor did it mean that the girl wasn't at least curious as to where she had gone.

"Did you get any response to that email you sent her last night?" Amber spoke up.

"No," Patricia said.

"It's difficult to know what else we can do," Fabian says hoping that soon she would just leave it alone.

"Question the newbie, that's what," Patricia says in response.

"She has nothing to do with this Patricia, she just has really bad timing," Fabian replied.

"What about last night? That business with the mirror?" Patricia retorted. Jerome began to chuckle. "What? You don't believe I saw anything do you?"

"Yes, we do! It's just... Mick saw Alfie hanging out on our corridor last night." Amber spoke up.

"Not even Alfie would have the nerve to sneak into the bathroom, and do something like that!" Patricia responds.

"Are we talking about the same Alfie?" Jerome and Flynn say simultaneously.

"So who do you think did write it then... Joy?" Fabian asked.
