Only a short time had passed since the two girls settled back into bed when their room door opened. "Patricia, give me the key!" Fabian says, rushing into the room with Amber on his heels.
Patricia sat up in bed, "I haven't got it," she says in response.
Flynn sits up now listening in to the conversation, "What is going on?" she asks confused.
"Liar," Amber jumps in.
"Patricia locked Nina in the attic and now says she doesn't have the key," Fabian speaks to answer Flynn's inquiry.
"Seriously? I haven't!" Patrica says once more.
"Where is it then?" Fabian asks.
"I... i threw it out the window." Patricia says looking at Fabian, Amber, and Flynn who were now standing with them.
Flynn looks at her with pure shock and says, "You did what?!"
Flynn grabbed her torch and headed to one of the two windows that were in the room, she began shining the light down to the ground to see if she could see the key. Fabian then asks, "Which window? This one?"
"Yeah, I... i think it went into the bushes," Patricia answers.
Flynn walked over to the window where Fabian was and began shining the torch down at the ground she saw something shine back at her. "I see it, but we will have to wait until morning to retrieve it."
"What a mess," Fabian says
"I think we should go and tell Victor everything," Amber says.
"No you can't do that," Patricia replies.
"Why are you afraid that he will finally stand up to your annoying ass?" Flynn asks as she, Fabian, and Amber all head to the door. "Let's go and check the door, maybe the door isn't locked or something," Flynn says once they are in the hallway.
"When have you ever been optimistic?" Fabian asks in shock having heard that come from the usual pessimistic friend of his.
"Never, but I thought I'd try it out. I didn't like how it felt." Flynn responds.
"Never do that again. It was creepy." Fabian said back as they walked closer to the attic door. He then began whisper shouting to the attic door, "Nina? Nina? Nina," with each time he got slightly louder. They then saw the door handle begin to turn, the door opened and Nina came out of the room. Flynn, Amber, and Fabian had all jumped back in surprise.
They all stood there for a moment before Nina replied, "Hi. What's the matter? You look like you've seen a ghost."
Amber begins to speak stuttering off at first, "H-how did you?" She asks pointing her hand to the door.
