Hello again!

This is unfortunately the end of the 2006-2007 storyline of these characters -- or fortunately for my psyches sake! I don't know if it was obvious, but the entire book was pre-written before it was ever published, hence the daily updates. It took...so long. I'm very satisfied with the ending product and hope every reader enjoyed their time with mine and my co-creators original characters and dynamics.

This part is mostly devoted to the fact that I (and my co-creator) have a lot more story to tell. Similar to Nora Sakavic's "extra content" for the original series, there are a lot of things to explain about what happens after the final chapter.

I think it's most poetic to start off with Porter, our original narrator! Let's get into it.

Porter does manage to get his degree in English, which is more of a self-victory than anything else. He struggles with it multiple times, but he has the support of the original and new Foxes alike, and he's incredibly proud of himself when he gets his diploma in 2009. (Kevin is too, but if there's one thing Kevin Day can't do, it is give a non-exy related compliment.)

Porter also does learn how to drive eventually, which is a terrible day for everyone on the roads of South Carolina.

Kevin is already on the US Court team when Porter graduates, and though he plays a season of professional Exy before he gets his offer, Porter is the second Fox to be given a place on the court. It's a big deal for him after years of being told how bad of a player he was, and he finally firmly leaves Riko's taunts behind him.

The Faye boys have a steady relationship eventually as they all form their own adult lives, and though it takes a while, they are all in each other's lives and attend each other's holiday gatherings. Porter loves both of his brothers and his in-laws very much -- though his brothers cannot stand Kevin. His relationship with the twins is elaborated on when we covered their future.

In a shocking twist to everyone -- including Porter and the Foxes -- Kevin proposes to Porter. Kevin had told Porter previously that if they won world championships, he'd propose, and while Porter didn't believe him, when they won, Kevin had the ring ready. It's only fitting that those nightmares got engaged on an exy court. The Foxes had a betting ring ongoing on the day of their wedding on if Kevin would walk out, and Hayden and Renee took home a jackpot by betting in Kevin's favor.

Over the years, Kevin (barely) mellows out and manages to hold hands without convulsing on the spot. I wouldn't hesitate to say their marriage is built on exy, but they have a strong respect and love for each other that slowly transforms into more of a balanced half-and-half.

Eventually, Porter mentions adopting, and Kevin is for the idea. They raise the best offensive line that professional exy has ever seen. Their three sons are homosexual exy junkies just like their fathers. They name the eldest David.

Overall, their relationship gets a lot better, Kevin gets more malewife for his man, and while their boys don't have a normal childhood, at least they were loved, am I right? Porter takes Kevin's last name. (Porter Day #07 starting dealer on the US Court is my beloved!)

On the topic of Andrew, I wouldn't say Porter and Andrew are ever truly on good grounds with each other, and never friends of course, but Porter is level-headed enough to know Kevin cares about Andrew. That's enough for Porter to stop instigating, and Andrew is too bored to pick fights. If Andrew feels like murdering Porter on any certain day, we're lucky to have Neil there to half-heartedly tell him prison isn't worth it.
