Chapter 6: Love Is A Maiden's Power

Third Person's P.O.V

"We made it to Coland.." Meliodas muttered softly as he clenched his fist, fearing time would run out before he could save you and Elizabeth. "So you made it here? That must mean those pathetic women are still alive~" Zeldris spoke firmly, angering Meliodas. However Merlin immediately could tell that Zeldris was an illusion, a trap to tempt Meliodas. "Meliodas no it's a trap-!" However Merlin's warning was ignored, he sliced Zeldris right as it turned to old bones. "I knew it.." "You attacked knowing it was a trap! You must be really mad at Zeldris~" Melascula's voice began to echo around the area as she began to use her spell Dark Cocoon. "Captain that's Melascula's spell! Captain!!!" Ban screamed as he ran towards him, but he was too late. Melascula trapped Meliodas in her spell and hid him away in the heart of Coland. "What do we do now?!" "Don't worry Diane! The captain hasn't gone far, I sense him at the center of this city." Gowther informed the others as they began to make their way towards his location, once they all entered an area full of skeletons they began to move.

The skeletons began to move as they glowed in a faint purple light, it was the work of Melascula. "They're being manipulated by Melascula, all they feel is anger and hatred!" Gowther shouted as everyone began to destroy the skeletons, doing their best to protect each other as well..

Meliodas' P.O.V

Being in a void of darkness with Melascula was just wasting time...I have to get to Y/n and Elizabeth. "It's been a while huh Meliodas~?" I didn't even bother to look behind me, I can't look at her...keeping me here was a big mistake. "Let me out Melascula!" I shouted angrily as I held onto my sword tighter than I was before, I have to escape here...I wanna see Y/n the most. "So you can see your lover and friend who will die in three days time once they awaken~?" Melascula was teasing me, she wants me to get angry...why? Her commandment...shit! "So you've realized~? Your anger is transferring into skeletons I'm controlling, you're basically fighting your own comrades~" Melascula began to laugh and I too began to laugh, causing her to become silent. "The Seven Deadly Sins and I were brought together by fate! Underestimating us is a big mistake!!" "Tch..." Melascula began to look annoyed and moments later she looked confident, even so...I know the sins can defeat her. "How about thi- WHAT?!" Judging from her reaction I could tell the sins stopped another on of her attacks. "That all you got Melascula~?" "Pfft~ Not quite!"

Third Person's P.O.V

Darkness began to rise from the skeletons Melascula was controlling, deciding she needed someone else to use. "Everyone be careful! Otherwise she'll take over you ne-" "Hey everyone...can I kill you~?" Merlin and the others gasped, Melascula managed to take control of Diane. She was easy prey to her, she was filled with so much hate for herself...blaming her actions for what would eventually happen to you and Elizabeth. "Diane!!" King shouted with such a worried look on his face, he didn't want to hurt the one he loves...he just couldn't. Inside the Boar Hat Elaine tried to get up from bed despite her weak state, knowing Diane was in serious trouble. "Diane has been swallowed up by vengeful souls...I can't let her and my brother suffer the way Ban and I did! Just...hold on a little while longer Diane!" Elaine spoke softly to herself as she fell to the ground, not giving up on saving Diane. "It's gonna be alright Elaine...my sister and I will come with you." You spoke calmly while helping Elaine to her feet, while Elizabeth began to carry her so she wouldn't overexert herself. "You both...no! It's too dangerous...you could-" "Believe in us...Elaine." Elizabeth smiled as we began to make our way towards the commotion, that's when you sensed it. "Helbram..." You whispered softly, feeling his soul be destroyed. His death fueled your anger towards Melascula, she's hurting innocent people. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!" Diane screamed to the vengeful souls inside her, but they didn't listen. "Let there be light!!" You shouted as light pierced Diane's body, purifying the souls within her. "Why...would you both come here? To...save me?" "Diane we could never leave you!" Elizabeth smiled as she still held onto Elaine while I walked closer to her, seeing her safe...made me feel relieved. "You're our precious friend...is that so wrong?" You spoke softly as Diane began to cry tears of joy, that's when both you and Elizabeth began to heal everyone's wounds. "I was so worried about you and everyone else!" "I know Elaine...but head back okay? It's not safe for you!" Elaine clung to Ban, feeling safer in her lover's embrace. She understood how worried he was about her considering her condition, but she couldn't bring herself to leave everyone. "That magical power was truly incredible...you both are true goddesses. However I'm a little confused, which Y/n and Elizabeth are you both right now?" "It's exciting to see Merlin again huh sister?" Elizabeth giggled as she hugged Hawk close to her, Merlin meant a lot to you both. "Hey Merlin!
