Resurrection - Loki - Y/N - TikTok Story

Loki needed to find her, but still needed to continue on with his plans. He was after all still being controlled by him.

He escaped easily from the helicarrier by tricking Thor with his self projection.
Everything was going according to plan, expect that Y/N was not far from Loki's thoughts.

Loki stood on a helipad at the Stark tower in New York, surveying his handy work in bringing the Chitauri to Midgard. The chaos and destruction was about to run rife as the portal was opened up.

Meanwhile, somewhere else in the city, Y/N was leaving her apartment building on her way to work. She had had little sleep still and was chanting a mantra in her head.

-stop thinking about him-

Repeated over and over as she walked down the busy sidewalk.

Thor had now shown up at the tower to try and convince Loki to stop. However words were of no use and they began to fight as a bright blue light shot up into the sky from the top of the tower, opening the portal.

Hundreds of Chitauri dropped from the sky, flooding the city and causing terror.

No one around Y/N had yet noticed the imminent danger in the sky coming towards them. She continued walking changing her chant to,

-he is not my soulmate - he is not my soulmate-

Over and over, determined to make herself believe it.

-I'll never see him again anyway-

She thought to herself.

The screams around her caused her to break out of her own thoughts, stop and look around, following the other bystanders to gaze upwards.

"Oh my god"

Everyone around Y/N was standing still, mouths wide open in shock at the sight above them. It wasn't until the aliens started shooting at people that they started running.

Y/N did the same trying to get out of the line of fire as they flooded the streets with what looked like blue laser fire. Anything it hit instantly burnt or exploded. People were screaming and running in all directions unsure of where to find cover.

On the balcony of the tower Loki and Thor grappled with eachother to a stalemate. Thor tried to talk Loki out of his diabolical plans again.

"This is madness brother, it needs to stop!"

Loki felt something strange and was instantly distracted, being drawn to look out across the city.

He tried to clear his mind, but felt it again, stronger now - terror - pain. Loki shook the feeling away, before turning back to Thor.

"It's too late"

He felt it again, even stronger, it tore through him, wracking him with guilt. It was the girl, Y/N. She was hurt, badly hurt.

Loki drew a small concealed dagger and stab Thor in the side. As Thor fell to the floor, Loki was awash with emotions, he needed to find her.

-Damn Thanos, damn his plans- he thought.

"I need to find her"

A single tear ran down Loki's cheek, he'd never felt so emotional about causing someone else's suffering. Needing to find Y/N out ruled everything.

Thor stood back up grabbing Loki and hoisting him into the air before slamming him onto the concrete. Loki rolled off the balcony onto a small
Chitauri hover type craft.

Loki was determined to find Y/N and started to search for her from the sky. The pull he felt was drawing him in her direction. Loki could tell she was almost unconscious and frightened, thinking she was going to die.

As Loki searched, Clint fired an arrow at him which Loki skillfully caught, but it had an explosive tip which Loki hadn't noticed. The resulting blast threw Loki into a nearby building through the windows.

As Loki stood he came face to face with the Hulk. Loki was not afraid of the giant green beast and stood tall confronting him.

"I am a God you dull creature and I will not be bullied by..."

Loki was cut off as the Hulk grabbed him by the leg and started slamming him into the floor like a ragdoll, leaving a Loki sized imprint in the concrete.

Blooded, bruised, stunned and defeated, he managed to drag himself over to the side of the room. All he could think about was how much he had failed her, again.

-What have I done?- he thought to himself.

He was the cause of this, of her pain and suffering and now he couldn't do anything to help her. The old memories rushed over him again of what happened in Asgard. He failed her then and she died. Now, he might be the one to cause her death and still he couldn't do anything about it.

Loki was surrounded by the avengers as he met their eyes one by one as they loomed over him, weapons drawn.

He was hauled to his feet by Thor, handcuffed and gagged after a few sarcastic comments slipped his lips.

Now being escorted by all of the avengers and two dozen guards, Loki was taken down into the foyer of the building. His entourage was suddenly stop by another group of guards and men in black suits.

As they argued, the Hulk burst through a door hitting the guard carrying a briefcase. This caused the briefcase which happened to be holding the Tesseract inside to burst open and the Tesseract to slide across the floor, ending up right next to Loki's feet.

Now was his chance of escape. If only they'd handcuffed his hands behind his back,

-this wouldn't have been so easy- he thought to himself.

-Fools-

Loki bent down grabbing the Tesseract and vanishing in a cloud of blue smoke. He could feel where Y/N was and teleported nearby to her. He also used this chance to change into midgardian attire, so not to be spotted.

He quickly rushed to where Y/N was injured on the floor. The sight before him caused his breath to catch in his throat as he froze to the spot.
