Loki took off in the Grand Master's ship towards the golden palace of Asgard, as Thor and Val kept fighting Hela.

"This is madness," Loki said to himself as he steered the ship.

Y/N headed back to help get the last of the people on board the evacuation ship with Heimdall.

Loki landed the ship in the palace courtyard nearest to the vaults as he could get and sprinted through the halls down the steps to where Odin kept his most precious treasures. He was going to cast the spell needed to resurrect Surtur.

After the last of the people boarded the evacuation ship its engines roared, starting to lift it into the sky as Hela used her powers to pierce through an engine, preventing it from taking off.

Her undead soldiers started climbing up the black rock holding the ship in place. Y/N looked down from the open door to see what had stopped the ship leaving when she saw them.

"THEY'RE COMING!" she shouted, "STAND BACK!"

Y/N flung her arms out trying to protect everyone on board as she screamed. Her powers sending flames shooting out and incinerating the soldiers now at the entrance to the ship.

As Loki grabbed Surtur's crown from its pedestal and headed towards the eternal flame, he passed something that made him slow. His eyes were drawn to it. It was calling to him to take it.

Thor and Val were still fighting Hela, desperately trying to distract her long enough for Loki to do his thing and the ship to escape.

Thor was pierced through the shoulder by of one Hela's stone spear. He knocked it out of his body and slumped over.

Loki placed Surtur's skull faced crown into the eternal flame, taking a deep breath to focus before he uttered the spell.

"With the eternal flame, you are reborn," he spoke confidently.

Y/N leapt from the ship and in a burst of flames destroyed the rock holding it. The ship, now freed from its teether, took off towards the sky, climbing higher and higher. She landed on the bridge and just as she looked up, Hela threw a spear at her, piercing Y/N through the chest. The impact caused Y/N to stumble backwards, her arms flung out and her back arched as her head slumped back.

Thor looked up from the floor where he had landed only a few seconds prior, to see his niece being killed before his eyes and screamed out,

"NO!!! Y/N!!!"

A pulse of energy sent a shockwave through the air as Y/N's entrie body rippled with power. The spear melted to nothing and she stood up straight. Y/N placed her hands on her chest where the weapon had skewered her.

~ what the fuck!?! ~

Hela turned slowly to face Thor who now stood open mouthed looking at Y/N.

Suddenly the ground below their feet shook as Surtur rose up through the palace in a sea of flames and rubble. His body kept growing and growing, almost like he was a lava monster as everything around him was destroyed.

With Hela distracted looking up at the gigantic monster destroying the world she had conquered, Val took the chance to plunge her sword through her back. Thor immediately hit Hela with a huge lightning bolt, breaking and shattering the bridge around her causing it to fall into the waters below.
