"Are you not coming along, Ran-san, Sanzu-san?" [Name] asked, noticing that they weren't following behind Mikey and her. The two turned to her in surprise.

"Polite one, aren't ya? Unfortunately, Ran and I have some business to attend to. And it's just Sanzu to you," Sanzu replied with a close eyes smile that hid behind his mask. [Name] nodded in return, waving goodbye to the two.

She followed Mikey, walking alongside him inside. The mall was swarming with people, so she scooted over to Mikey so they wouldn't separate. The white-haired man noticed her gesture and grabbed the sleeve of her arm.

"Lead the way," Mikey spoke, his tone loud enough for her to hear. They locked gazes for a moment, his eyes widened when he saw the look she had on her face.

"Alright, we can go to the toy store first. Himari, one of my co-workers, loves stuffed animals despite her age." [Name] smiled before she started to walk in the direction of the toy store. Mikey followed suit, still holding onto the sleeve of her jacket, not that she minded. However, it took all of his self-control not to hold her hand.

The minutes passed quickly, [Name] had already bought a stuffed reindeer along with a new coffee cup for Kaito. Even if she was kind of lacking in the budget department, she still did her best she could to give back whenever she could.

Mikey, however, loved watching her do her own thing. [Name] didn't forget his presence, asking him whether she should get this option or the other. Once again, she made him feel butterflies in his stomach. No matter where he looked, whoever he spoke to, he knew he would never forget the person who has captured his heart.

He loved hearing her talk, listening to her soft voice. It didn't show any form of annoyance when it took him a while to answer, she was patient with him. And her smile, always felt as though she was glowing.

"What would you like for this Christmas, Mikey-san?" she asked after swallowing the food in her mouth. The two decided to get something to eat and there happened to be a donut store nearby.

Mikey snapped out of his thoughts, noticing the way she held her donut. Two pinkies held in the air, he then chuckled to himself. Which was something she heard.

[Name] pouted, "I know, I'm aware. I hold donuts weird, don't I?" A nervous smile spread across her lips, laying the donut back on the plate before wiping her mouth with a clean tissue.

"Nope, I don't think so." Mikey paused, something caught his eye, "You can go with me to a festival on the 24th," he pointed towards the poster that was displayed on the glass window.

[Name] chuckled, nodding her head in response. Mikey felt more comfortable every time they got to meet, it was as if his old self, his real self. Only she was able to bring out this side of him. He then noticed her rummaging through her bag.

"Here, I baked these this morning. Thank you for coming here with me today." She handed him a small plastic bag of cookies, neatly wrapped with a small bow. His eyes widened, he wasn't expecting anything in return for simply showing up.

Her fingers brushed against his when he hesitantly took it from her. The urge to hold her hand grew stronger, he just knew how soft her hands would be. Every day, every minute, he couldn't help it. He fell deeper in love with her.
