"Kill him." Mikey remained indifferent while the men in front of him nodded in response. Despite all the good in the world, something did need to balance out.

Blood splattered on the ground the moment the trigger was pulled. No one in the room cared about the death of a person, looking away from the dead body only to have someone else clean it up. Members of Bonten were known for this kind of behavior among others.

Mikey knew how dangerous his men could be and wished no harm to happen to the only person who seemed to genuinely care about him without knowing who he truly was. Despite that, he still wanted to know who she was and got his most trusted members to handle the case.

It wasn't clear to anyone else to the point where he, too, didn't realize. The Invisible Mikey had a soft spot for a girl who didn't even know his name, but he did want hers.

"Boss, you saw her face. Maybe we can just narrow it down to the number of lady workers around that area," Rindou spoke, explaining what they could do in order to catch the girl his boss was desperately looking for.

Guards stood outside the door. The aroma of expensive perfume filled the expensive-looking room that was held on one of the highest floors of the building. In the midst of it, all were the Bonten Executives members. A dangerous aura filled the space around them, no one dared to enter without their permission. Especially not during the meetings that held more importance than the rest, exactly like this one.

None of the members knew exactly what the boss was thinking this time. They just all assumed that the person he was looking for held important information on Bonten or rather they were just a threat to the organization altogether. None of them would have guessed that it was just a random stranger whom he happened to bump into on the streets.

There was only one other person who knew of the girl's presence and that was none other than Sanzu Haruchiyo. He was close by when their boss decided to go on a short walk and he needed to be there in case anything happened. It was, indeed, unusual for him to walk outside in broad daylight.

It was now around 8:00 PM in the evening. It gets colder day by day, yet the people didn't mind as they were already used to this weather coming every once a year. Workers began to go home after finishing a long day at work. Of course, this didn't apply to a certain manager who was left alone in her office.

[name] has been working tirelessly through the days. It's surprising how she still pushes through with doing overtime. One of her superiors happened to be there that night, he noticed the light coming from her office and approached it with a heavy sigh.

A gentle knock on the door brought the young lady back from being too deep in her thoughts, sinking herself in the amount of work she willingly gave herself.

"[surname]-san, you should go home now." Kaito, her boss, peeked his head inside. He could see some strands of hair peeking out of her usually kept bun, dark circles slowly grew under her eyes. She was exhausted.

"Kaito-san, I didn't know you were still here," she muttered, looking a bit guilty from being caught. Although, it was he who recommended her to their office and was gladly accepted. With a sigh, she closed her laptop and began keeping her things.

"You shouldn't exhaust yourself. Take a day off tomorrow," he chuckled, leaving the girl who stopped midway when she heard the last thing he said. He knew she would oppose, so left before she could utter another word.

"A day off, huh.." she whispered to herself as she placed her bag on her shoulder. She closed the lights of her office before leaving.

[name] walked down the night streets. Her clothes weren't as warm enough as she would've thought. Add the fact that she accidentally left her gloves at home, she was slightly freezing with the cold air surrounding her.

That was until she stopped to see the man who just happened to stand up from the bench in front of her. His figure was familiar, his presence, yet the clothes he wore and the scent radiating looked and smelled expensive. What would a rich man like him be doing in the cold rather than in the comfort of his warm house?

Even so, the look in her eyes softened when he looked at her. The familiar sight of someone she once helped somehow brought a warm feeling up in her chest.

Though it was different for Mikey. His heart started to beat hard against his chest for only her smile gave him yet another fluttering feeling inside. Though, why was it so hard to grasp the meaning of what this feeling was?
