Chapter 8 That Dream About Me Flying Away With Him

It's now 7:15 and Marley is in first period

Marley are you feeling alright cause it looks like you must have been asleep more than you were supposed to be... I am now Rachel unlike how I was the last couple of days. What do you mean Marley? Well for one my parents had found out from Mrs. Longmire that myself and Jace were in the library working on math even though he's in the eighth grade and he was only helping me with my math homework. So what did they say to you when you had gotten home.
They had told me if I keep seeing him then we won't be able to see each other ever again.
Yes, that does include when I graduate from high school and college.

Several hours later and it's now the end of the day

Marley, Hey there you are I was looking all over for you. I was just finishing up that last part of that assignment Rachel. I've heard what had happened between your parents and that's got to be super awful. I know and the worst part is that they are here right now for that stupid iep meeting so that's why Jace and I are staying in here. What if you get caught by her or by your parents or by all three of them. Come to think about it your right maybe we can meet up on Friday instead of today Jace since my parents are on campus. It's a stupid iep conference that they have to do every year about my progress in school. Hey, it's fine we can meet up on Friday when you get out of school. Maybe we could go and explore downtown and its history. I'm in What about you Rachel...Count me and Jon..Okay Marley. What time do all of you want to meet up? How about at four that afternoon. That will work for me and get my mind off of my parents being here and that stupid IEP meeting. I have a feeling that they are talking about me being in the library with him.

Inside of the classroom

Mr. and Mrs. Harlow, I just want to thank both of you for coming here this afternoon. I want you to know that Marley is doing fairly well in all of the other classes including choir( she has a dreading look on her face) But I am a bit concerned with her math and it's that she's not getting any of the concepts. Also, I know that you both have been knowing about this but she was seen in the library with a guy that is a grade ahead of her. Look Mrs. Longmire we were aware of this but it's like she would rather go to him for help with her homework than to you and none of us gets it at all. We would like to know what on earth is going on here.

I don't know what on earth has been with her being around that guy. We have to find out about it before it's too late and it's going to get to where they are around each other like all the time. It's going to get to where she will be hanging out with him. Well, Mr. and Mrs. Harlow, I don't know whats is with her and that but I'm wondering do they see each other in the choir which is her second-period class. Now that one we are not completely sure about at all. But we do know that she's also on her laptop a whole lot talking to this guy too as well after she is home for the day but we do see that her math homework is complete but I'm not sure if she is with him in the afternoon.

While Marley's parents are still inside of the building for her IEP and the school is just about empty Marley and Jace are sitting outside in the area where the picnic tables are at and she tells him about the dream that she had previous night.

Marley, what is this about a dream that you had after you had locked yourself in the bathroom at home. Well after we were texting each other that night while I had locked myself in the bathroom cause of what Carley had done earlier in the day. I had stared out of the window of my room and then when to sleep. While I had gone to sleep I had started to imagine that you had floated to my window and I had walked over to where you were and you had grabbed my hand.

So you were dreaming about running from everything that has been going on in the last couple of months. Yeah, even with the yelling and the complaining from my own parents. What about your sister Carley. She's no help either cause she wants to see us separated cause she had told my parents on the very first day of school and now I don't want us to be apart for any reason. I know Marley and it's going to be just fine. Don't let any of it get to you in any way. What about my parents or my sister telling the rest of my family members at every family event to where all of them knows about it. What about you do you have any other siblings or are you the only child?

Well, I have a little sister but she's in the fourth grade and she doesn't even know about what is going on with us at all. Wow, you are completely lucky unlike me who has to hear about it from a twin and from the rest of the family. Hey, don't feel bad Marley, cause pretty soon you will never have to hear about what they are saying about us ever again.
