Chapter 14 I've Never Seen That Color On You Before

Several months later and not only it's the last week before the fall-winter ball but it's also three days before the dance and she's getting the final things for her dress. As Marley has just about finished getting the things to match the color dress that she has to wear Rachel comes and helps her with getting the hair accessories to go with the dress. Rachel what do you think she asks her as she is trying the dress on for the very first time.

Oh My, Marley, you look like a real Disney Princess. I'm wondering what will my sister say about this and worst what if she's there and see me with him. Marley, don't worry about it cause she won't be able to cause it's going to be a lot of other seventh and eighth graders there too.

A week before Christmas Break 2006

The very last week of November and the first couple weeks of December fly by fast along with everyone's exams has been completed. Several days later and it's the night of the dance and Carley is already dressed and is wondering where is Marley. She must be with her friends and I'm so wondering if you know what or who is going to be there. I hope not Carley cause I have a feeling that it is not going to end well at all.

Several Hours later and at Rachel and Jon's house waiting for her.. Hey, Marley are you just about ready.. As Jon is sitting downstairs waiting for his sister, mother and Marley to all come downstairs to get ready to head to the dance.. Marley dear is your sister going to the dance tonight. I don't think she is but I have a feeling that she's going to be there just to spy on me and see what I'm doing. Rachel had told me that you looked like a real Disney princess and you really do now let's get you all ready for your first dance.

Hours later and inside of the school gym.. everyone is dancing and the music is blaring
very loud. Jace is sitting outside of the gym. Marley..You look extremely beautiful. You look super dapper yourself. Marley Rose Harlow.. May I have this dance he asked her with his hand out.
Jason Beckett, I would love to have this dance with you. The two of them walks back into the gym together and starts dancing. [This I Promise You by *NSYNC is playing]

As Jace and Marley are still dancing and it's a lot of other people around them dancing too her sister is listening and spying on both Marley and Jace. I so have to let mom and dad see this Carley say as she is trying to get as many pictures of the two of them. As Carley was still taking pictures of both Jace and Marley the principal takes the camera from her. Miss Harlow I will see you in my office first thing Monday morning.
Hours later
Marley can I ask you a question? What is it that you're wanting to ask me Jace? Does your sister always spy on us? I want to be very honest with you about that one and that answer is yes she does. Why would she do something like that.. It's because of us meeting on the very first day. She needs to leave us alone. I have a feeling that her and my parents are trying to sabotage our friendship.
I have a feeling that I'm going to get yelled at big time now thanks to Carley. Don't worry about it Marley.

Several hours later as both of them are still dancing and talking she sees that both of her parents are outside of the gym and Marley is shaking and crying because of what Carley had done.

Jace I have a bad feeling about this cause now I think that Carley is going to spread those pictures all over the school. The worst part is that I'm going to be the one that gets into trouble and not her. What do you mean by that Marley? They always take up for her instead of me cause of us meeting each other. I think that this is going to make me so mentally sick for weeks.
She's starts to have an anxiety attack.
Marley..Marley are you okay? She sees Jace sitting right next to her while she's still having the anxiety attack.
Marley, I'm here and I'm not going anywhere and I'm going to be right here with you. Don't worry about what your sister nor your parents say about us. While he's trying to calm her down she is still having the anxiety attack. It had gotten to where she almost ended up blacking out but he is still sitting with her.

Marley...Marley... Several hours later she wakes up and she's in the hallway and she sees someone. Jace, what happened she had started to wonder. You had an anxiety attack cause you were scared that you were going to get into trouble with your sister.
