Chapter 12 Whats With Her

Just great now we have gotten word that we can't go to your IEP meeting Marley.  As her parents are still upset about it too and they think that she has something to do with it. Marley has her earbuds in her ears and she is completely ignoring them.

Marley Rose Claire Harlow! Her mother screamed at her. You are the one that caused all of this. But she's still ignoring them and her earbuds are still in her ears as she is still listening to her iPod nano. I just wonder what is with her and that iPod nano and not listening to a single word that we are trying to tell her Richie. I don't know Jeannie but I believe that she's either with her friends all the time or with that boy. Marley rolls her eyes and just sat there and still ignores every single word that they are saying. As they all make it home from their day Marley goes straight to her room and slams the door shut. She sits behind the door still listening to her iPod nano and is finishing up the rest of her work for the day from her classes.

Her parents go upstairs to her room knocking on the door but they don't know that she's sitting behind the door.   She is just about finished with the rest of her homework from her classes and she then texts Jace.

Marley: This is just getting worst and worst if you know what I mean and now they are blaming me for the whole school getting out today.

Jace: What! that's awful and stupid. That has nothing to do with you and this was because of a huge staff meeting they are required to have every single month.  Are you on your laptop?

Marley: No my phone. I'm going to get my laptop and connect to IM so that they can't hear the chat going off.

She then locks her door for a bit, pauses her music on her iPod, and grabs her laptop from her desk. She then plays her music and unlocks the door and sits back down in the same spot. She then loads up her laptop and signs in to it and her IM account. While she was on her IM  her parents came up to her room banging on the door. Marley Rose Claire Harlow! Open up this door now. Both of them are screaming for her to open the door up to her room.

She is still on IM with Jace and the earbuds are still in her ears and she is completely ignoring her parents.  They're still banging on the door to my room and they are super upset with me. Since they think that I have something to do with why everyone had to leave today. Aw, come on Marley that has nothing to do with any of us.  I have a feeling that sooner or later my entire family of mine will talk about me at every holiday gathering that will go on until either I decide to leave or else. Ugh tell me about it and what makes matter worst is that I will have to hear about the whole thing.

You know what Marley, If they don't like it then that's their problem, not yours and they will just need to get over it. They will just keep banging on the door cause they know that I'm the whole problem. The worst part is that they don't want me around you at all Jace.

Why? Is it because they think that I'm a distraction from your studies? Possibly and it could be since that first day of school. Aw, come on Marley what's next for them is that years later they find out that we're still together. Possibly, maybe they could be right, and maybe we could be distracting each other from our studies Jace.
No, Marley that isn't even one bit true at all and I'm trying to help you with your math studies and if they don't like it then they will have to just deal with it. Even if we're still together a year later and when we've graduated from high school. Yup, they will just have to deal with it.
You don't need to listen to any of that nonsense Marley. In the long run, it will show how much stronger you are Marley Rose Harlow. Don't let anything nor anyone get in our way even when you decide to move on and have a life and dreams of your own.
