Taehyung and Jungkook - Nothing like us

Part 32

"Don't you like what you see?"
"Tha-that's not the point. We're drunk."
He put the glass on the table and the bottle right next to it.
"Oh you're such a gentleman. I've always liked that about you."
Wearing nothing but her underwear and a shirt, she walked towards him and put her arms around his neck.
Carefully his hands slid around her waist so he could stabilize her, just in case she would fall.

"I missed you, Namjoon. I've missed these moments with you."
"Me too. But I actually have to go back soon. I already have a missed call from Jimin."
"Just stay here. Please just- just stay."
Namjoon noticed how her voice sounded sad and he looked at her.

"Hey, hey what's wrong?" He caressed her face.
She shook her head.
"Nothing. I just don't want to be alone tonight. I understand if you have to go back, I know you have a busy schedule, but.. I felt lonely recently and now that you're here, I don't feel that way anymore. I don't want to feel lonely again", she said and hid her face in his shirt.
Namjoon wrapped his arms around her and they just stayed like that a few minutes.

Calmly going through her hair, he was thinking about what he was going to do.

Then his phone rang. Jimin, again.

"I gotta answer this."

"Hyung, where are you? Everyone is worried after you suddenly just left. Are you okay? Should someone come pick you up?"

Namjoon waited a few seconds before he replied "I'm with Jun. I'll stay the night, sorry I worried you."
Jun looked up with a warm smile on her face.
"Who's Jun?"
"She's.." he looked at her. "She's ..this woman, just ask Jungkook about it, he'll know."
With that, he hung up the phone.

"You wanted to say girlfriend, didn't you?"
"I've just gotten too used to calling you that."

"I wouldn't say that. We haven't really talked about it but to be honest- I would like to be called your girlfriend again. It's not as if we are strangers, who just started going out with each other."

"That's right", Namjoon said, "we've known each other almost a year indeed."

"Yes. Around 9 months."

"Feels like yesterday, that we exchanged numbers."
"I know. Weird."

"I like you. And I want to be your girlfriend again", Jun said.
"I like you too", Namjoon answered. They were standing closely in front of each other, both waiting for the other to make the next step.
After minutes went by and nothing happened, she turned around and said "I'll get ready for bed."
But he reached for her hand and pulled her back to him.
Then he kissed her. And she kissed him back.
The kiss was sweet and tender and also led to them stumbling into her bedroom, throwing clothing on the floor and landing on top of each other on her mattress.
Whatever they thought they would or wouldn't do, didn't matter now. They were just lost in each other's eyes, lost in the exact moment.

-at the same time at the dorm-
"Your turn hobi hyung."
"I don't have anything to put out, you're next Tae."
"I still don't understand how this game works."
Jungkook looked into Taehyung's cards. (The picture above)
"You can take that one", he pointed at the blue eight-card in Taehyung's hand.

"And what does that do?"
"Jesus Tae, we're playing Uno. It's really not that hard", Jimin said.

"I know why this game is so difficult for Taehyung", Yoongi said.
"Why?"
"Because he is so smart that the game is too easy for him and that's why he doesn't get it."
Jungkook laughs and Taehyung pouts.
"Stop making fun of me."
"Just ignore them, they're just teasing you", Jungkook said and patted his leg.
