Taehyung and Jungkook - Nothing like us

Jungkook enjoyed the warmth of Tae's chest, his calm voice, his arms and how they held him, tight and supporting. For once he wished he was smaller, to fit better into his arms.

He was so thankful that Taehyung gave him a chance to explain, to have said everything that was going on in his mind and for his brother, his friend, his .. his Taehyung, and that he didn't push him away.

He hugged him even tighter. His tears were leaving a slight burning trail when they slid down his cheeks.
He was so overwhelmed and didn't know what to do. Taehyung instead seemed to know exactly what he was doing. He calmly breathed in and out, patted Jungkooks shoulders and back.

For a few minutes the guys didn't move and there were no noises except Tae's calm breathing and Jungkook's quiet sobs. Taehyung carefully went backwards to let go of the younger. He dried the others tears with a tip of his pullover's sleeve.
"Okay?"
Jungkook nodded.
"I am a little disappointed in you right now. Yes. And a little angry too. But I won't push you away."

"Thank you."
"And the last thing, I wanted to ask you.."
Jungkook listened closely, "to get this clear once and for all. What are we? Because if something like this happens again, we need to think about an answer. And where we stand."

"I'm sorry that I said no earlier. I was scared. I didn't know what was going to happen and I was sure this way would be the quickest and easiest."
Tae nodded.
"What do you want to be?"

"Y-your boyfriend?", Jungkook gulped and looked down.

Taehyung smiled silently.
"I'd like that", he said.

Jungkook sighed in relief.
"But, we still need to figure out, if we will tell the members or not", Taehyung reminded.
"I- that's a lot of pressure, don't you think?"
"So you don't want them to know?"
Jungkook nibbled on his bottom lip. He knew that Tae wanted to share that information.

"We can tell Jimin."
The older agreed.

"Let's just ignore the fact that I'm still mad at you. Do you want to stay the night? Just as long for you to slip into your own room before the rest if the members wake up?"

Jungkook nodded.
They walked over to Taehyung's bed and sank into his mattress. The older quickly pulled the younger onto his chest.
Not to forget his arms which were slung around Jungkooks tiny waist and back so perfectly. Not too much pressure added of course, but enough for Jungkook to feel held. He still felt bad about everything that happened but was even more relieved that Taehyung was still so kind to him. He wanted for him to never let him go.

He really had to make it up to Taehyung somehow.
He breathed in and breathed out. It felt as if a giant knot had loosened inside his chest.
Tae's hand slowly started stroking his hair until Jungkook closed his eyes and fell asleep.

"Jungkook. Jungkookie."
Jungkook was soundly asleep.
"Jungkookah."
Tae blew some air onto the maknae's head but he didn't move.
He whistled. No reaction.
His hands patted his back and poked his shoulders. No reaction.
"Jungkook it's already five, you need to switch rooms."
Nothing.
Tae turned them around, so he was on top. He sat up and poked Jungkook's cheek.
"Wake up."
Taehyung sighed after he got no response.

He wasn't really that strong but they needed to hurry, so he just grabbed the younger under his knees and back to carry him to his own room. Jungkook's head fell onto Taehyung's shoulder which made him smile. He walked to the room with Jungkook in his arms and tried to oped the door as silent as possible.
It made some creaking noises and Taehyung prayed that no one woke up from that.

Of course a door at the end of the hall opened.
Jimin's head stuck outside.
"What are you doing?", he sleepily asked.
"Are you two okay?"
Tae nodded.
"Wait let me help you", he said and widened Jungkook's door, so Taehyung wouldn't struggle to walk through.
Jimin took the blanket from the bed and waited until Tae had laid the maknae into his bed to cover him with it.
