Part 22 | How About You Finish The Rest

Grace placed the two mugs in the only coffee table that she had in her apartment. She sits in a couch after placing them while looking at her boyfriend's serious face beside her. She look at the book that he had in his hands. Grace never find Na Jaemin reading a book before so this is the first time she witnessed him contemplating that.

"Hey, where do you find this?" Grace asked after reading the cover of the book that he read there.

It was hers. Grace is also currently reading that book. She starts to wonder why the book is already in his hands right now because she remembered about how panicked she was looking for that book after waking up from her sleep this morning.

"It's in your bathroom, Grace. Behind your toilet seat."
"You're joking?"
"No, I'm not joking. I found it after I finished using it, thought I could read it while you're out for taking cash in the ATM."

Grace mouthed an 'o' to him, feeling so much relief that her book is still there. She started to remember about how the book was gone missing from her sight. It was when Grace knew that she had to finished her bath time last night because she was sleepy. After that, Grace couldn't remember about the rest of her night but to find out that she was already in her bed sleeping beside Na Jaemin.

"I thought I lost it, Na Jaemin. I read that book last night in the bath tub, but I didn't remember that I left it in the toilet seat."

He chuckles, closing the book and kiss her forehead soon after. "What is this? Tea?" He asked, pointing the mugs in the table.

"Yup, Chamomile. Try it." She answered, smiling to him as he slowly take the mug from the table.

He sip his tea, feeling pleased after he tasted it. "So refreshing."

"I was right, you'd loved it." She said, taking her mug also from the table and start to drink it.

Grace couldn't help but to agree with Na Jaemin. The chamomile tea that she bought this morning from the convenience store was actually good. It was Grace's idea to drink tea together with Na Jaemin in Saturday's morning. Na Jaemin decided to stay in her apartment since yesterday he came. Grace has finally coming back to her place again after staying in her parents house for a week. Yesterday was also the first encounter with Na Jaemin again after two weeks being busy with each other's business, thus they couldn't make it to see each other everyday. Na Jaemin was busy with his University's works outside the city also his work at Neko's, not to mention about his family things in his house. Grace on the other hand was also busy with her thesis and her parents who just come back for holiday after a long time living and working in Bali.

"I'm loving this book already." He said, placing the mug in the table again.

"I bought it last week, I'm half way there to finish it."
"Can I still read it, Grace? Your bookmark is still in your latest page I promise."

She hummed, nodding to Na Jaemin after that. "Sure, just read it whenever you want. I'm in no rush."
"Thanks, babe." He said, pecking her lips soon after.

She chuckles, blushing because Na Jaemin called her babe. Grace hate to admit that she did felt shy when it comes to Na Jaemin calling her besides her real name. Grace is rarely called him besides his name. She always calls him with his name. She wanted to call him other than that but when it comes to speak, she got tongue tied and she gave up. It's just so hard for Grace to adapt calling him besides 'Na Jaemin'. Grace was also never do that with her ex. Perhaps, it's just her habit for calling everyone only with their name.

"I'm on chapter 3. It's about the writer's love life." He continued, "I was laughing so hard because some parts were just related to my life."

She giggled, leaning on the couch after placing her mug on the table. She brings herself close to Na Jaemin as his hands are busy with opening and closing the book.
