Part 31 | Super Rich Kids

The sound of the students clapping started to echoed the room after Jaeha and Eunsang made it a tie for their score in the first row as a negative candidate. Grace cheered from the audience seat as they leave the stage to take a break for 10 minutes.

The topic was about a climate change. Grace and Mrs. Lee has prepared this perfectly for both Eunsang and Jaeha to give their best performance on today's debate. It's the topic that always comes to a never ending discussion so that's why Grace was eager to apply this competition for their student.

"How was it, Ms. Kim? I'm scared." Eunsang asked as Grace has finally arrived at the back stage.

"You did great, Eunsang. Good job! Also, you too Jaeha. That's a nice idea to put a Government's program on this debate." Grace chuckles as Jaeha and Eunsang let out a sighs together.

"I'm scared they will sue me, Ms. Kim." Jaeha said between her chuckles.

"It's alright, it's all good."

"By the way, Ms. Kim," Mrs. Lee said after she comes back from the toilet awhile ago, "They told me that they would give us a free lunch after this."

"Really? Yeay!" Jaeha screamed before Grace was begin to speak.

"Oh, I'm sorry Mrs. Lee. I'm just really excited about free foods!"
"It's alright, Jaeha. I expect the same reaction as you for Ms. Kim."

"Of course! Yeay?" The three of them laugh after Grace said that to all of them.

"Okay, so now that we'll have a free lunch, how about we just eat that in school?"
"Sure, Mrs. Lee. Let's have our free lunch there. We also have our lesson's going on later and the dispensation is only allowed until 1 pm."
"I agree with Jaeha."

"Okay, what about you Ms. Kim?"
"Oh, of course! I would love to! We also need to go back to class."

All of them are chuckling together. Mrs. Lee soon gave them a time to prepare for the second row in 5 minutes left before they hit the state again. Grace tried and convinced them to stay calm and be confident for their performances. With that, the five minutes left becomes more advantageous for both Eunsang and Jaeha.

The debate becomes more intense after the two candidates started to raise their voice for the argument. The audience were also joined the ambience of the two candidates gave in the stage.

More and more arguments from both candidates are making the score becomes more higher than before as they always gave it a tie. Grace realize that the opponents of Jaeha and Eunsang were unbearable. They always come up with an argument that made both Jaeha and Eusang losing the score. However, it's not the same until the last minute of their debate.

The crowd cheered after the time stopped and showed them the last score for two candidates. Grace screamed when her students name appeared on the big LED screen beside the stage showing that their score was higher than their opponents. Grace jumped and hugged Mrs. Lee after seeing SIS school was the winner of today's debate competition.

Grace could feel her body tremble because of the excitement she had after seeing her students taking the medals on the stage. She hold Mrs. Lee's hand and smiled at her. "We did it."

"No, Grace. You did it." Grace chuckles after hearing Mrs. Lee called her name.

"Just call me Suhyeon. It's fine." She continued as the smile in Grace's face becomes wider. She hugged Mrs. Lee once again before they decided to go back to the back stage and meet their students.

"Ah, I'm so full."

Jaeha said after she finished her last spoon of her beef teriyaki on her lunchbox.
