The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. Well they say that you shouldn't get lost in your pain, know that one day your pain will become your cure, and here I am still waiting for my cure and I can't wait for that day when I can finally be at peace and not feel so much pain in me.

I was drifted off from my thoughts by a phone call from the one and only Theodore Anderson
"Tell me you have something nice to say" I said answering
"Good evening to you too love" He said chuckling heartedly
"That doesn't answers my question Teddy" I said at most hearing his happy tone
"What if I say I do?" he said as I could sense him smirking at the other side
"You do?" I asked in an uneasy tone
"I do" He affirmed "I contacted an old friend of mine who resides in Vegas-"
"Tedy, have you forgotten that I live in New York, not in Vegas" I stopped him short ripely
"I know love, just hear me out. My friend whose name is Jude who lives in Vegas, keeps a tab on all the underground battles taking place around the globe and I had requested him to inform me as soon as there was a fight in the NYC region and guess who called me today?" He said excitedly as I doubled the excitement
"No way?" I asked just to double check
"Yes way" He said chuckling again but this time I joined him
"I wanted to have a confirmation so I could you know fill the form do the formalities even though I know it's a yes" He said as it was a matter of fact
"Do I even have yo answer that?" I surprised "Hell yeah" I did a scream-yell thing through the phone
"Okay love, no need to make me deaf" he said earning a chuckle from me
"so yeah I'll provide you with the venue and date tomorrow along with the person you are gonna fight with alright?" He said in his Australian accent, Teddy is Australian, he is someone what people these days call- an immigrant
"Roger that " I said chuckling as the line on the other side went silent as I heard him sigh deeply
"Take care Lia I know you are going through a lot at the moment. Just remember love, you are gonna pull through" He soothed from the other side
This I the thing I like about this guy- he soothes me alongside respecting my privacy, he never questions a thing further if I am not interested or comfortable in telling the tale to him and he also knows I hate pity so he says comforting words which don't sound like pity like for example he never says 'I'm sorry for you' and shit like that
"I know Ted I'm trying" I said smiling sadly at his comforting words
"Come on bestie you are 'the mortem' okay? No one messes with the undefeatable champion of the underworld" He said laughing and again earning a chuckle from me
"Okay Lia have fun, love you" He said
"Love you more Theo, thankyou" I said as he muttered a welcome and hung up
Talking to this guy makes my heart feel light headed , he is also precious one and I swear I will protect him at all costs
As I was walking up to my bed from the bay window area suddenly the door to my room flung open and in came a whistling Asher entered my room
