"Bet you missed me" She snickered at my face
"Keep Dreaming," I said rolling my eyes
"Very well, I see my sister didn't do a good job raising you," She said sympathetically making a tsk-tsk sound
"Believe it or not, she was a thousand times better than you"
"Awh, too bad she had to die," She let out an airy laugh and took a knife out of her sheath
"What do you mean by she had to die?" I asked getting aggravated as time passed
"I wanted to keep an eye on you, but it was so hard with my naive sister Maria around. But then one day I found the best way to observe you closely. Guess what?"
"You killed her."
"All because of you," She said tracing the knife on my jawline and applying a little pressure, just the right amount to draw blood out
"I need god to answer why everyone has to die because of me," I sighed and rolled my eyes
After everything I have been through, This was nothing new to take in. I kinda always knew that it wasn't a normal death, There was something sceptic about Aunt Maria's death,
We were informed about her death two days after her body was buried.
She couldn't have just vanished, could she?
"Kadrien" Just as I was mislaid in my thoughts I heard her call in Kadrien and then within minutes he came in like a lost puppy to its owner
"I believe you have already met him" She said mentioning Kadrien who gave me a grin
"Diego, Xenon and a lying assed pig? Maybe I do know him" I said throwing death glares at him
"If I were you, I would watch my word sugarplum," He said gritting his teeth
"If I were you I would save my balls from getting kicked next"
"ENOUGH," Mary said angrily and then pursed her lips in a thin line
"I swear to god, if someone tells me why the fuck am I here in the first place, I would be in heaven right now"
"You know why we are here Camellia" She replied
"Why would I ask you if I knew?" I yelled at her
I had crossed my limit of toleration now. I don't care, I need to get out of here as soon as possible
"DON'T TALK TO BOSS LIKE THAT," Kadrien said almost jumping at me
"I WILL. WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT? CRY?" I yelled back at his face
I hate men who try to look like an alpha when they are clearly not.
Toxic masculinity? Not on my watch honey
"Leave her," Mary said "How would you feel if I tell you that your beloved Aunt Maria was killed?"
"By Me and Blaise Gustavo" She said adding a fake chuckle
"I already figured that out, next question," I said giving her a sarcastic smile
"I sent Kadrien into your life because the only thing that you yearn for in your life is love, and I know that one thing that makes you weak is love too"
"Yeah No" I replied groggily
This was so boring. This stupid woman was telling me stuff that I knew all along.
"Let's get to the juicier stuff" I interrupted her "How do you know Blaise"
Just as she was about to say something, her phone rang and she declined it but left the room without saying a word Diego left soon after
"IS EVERYONE ON THEIR PERIOD OR WHAT?" I yelled in the now-empty cell
I heard someone's footsteps approaching the room. I prayed for this person to not be Blaise, I don't need more mentally draining
Someone familiar approached me and untied my hands from the chair
It was Savio
"Thanks," I said a word of gratitude and he only nodded in response. We both started walking towards my so-called prisoner room
"Less aggressive now?"
"I got the CCTV retrieved, it wasn't you who killed Dad," He said gently pushing me inside the room to not make others suspicious
"TOLD YA" I said nearly yelling as he shushed me "Who was it then?"
"You did kill some random guy from the Russian Mafia but then I saw Kadrien kill Dad with a knife and exchange the bodies" He sighed and ran his hands through his hair
"I'm sorry Savio" I hugged him sideways
I knew what it felt like to see someone close to you die.
"It's me who should be sorry not you. I'm sorry for hurting you earlier this day and betraying you"
"I mean, it's okay I guess"
"I got you something" He said walking up to the side table and taking out a cupcake from the drawer
"Sav," I said softly. I could see the younger version of him in him right now, He always sneaked us cupcakes.
"Forgive me?" He said holding out the cupcake in his hand and I rushed down to hug him
I knew he wanted a hug so bad right now, I felt a tear fall down on my shoulder, He was crying.
The Russian Mafia don't deserve to live, Loyalty is one thing on which the mafia runs but betraying someone loyal to your mafia is atrocious.
"I'll find each one of them and kill them with my own hands," He said with anger fueling his body
"We are in this together. We have Theodore, Iris and Adriano with us too. You are not alone" I held his face with my hands and he nodded coherently
"I will make sure you get out soon Camellia. You and the others are the only family I have left" He said in a promising tone
"I am halfway up through the arrangements" A familiar voice ranged near the gate
"Alessandro" I said looking at him and just then Savio came and stood in front of me
"You fucking bastard" He charged towards Alessandro and pinned him to the nearest wall, I knew Alessandro could hit him super hard right now but he didn't
"I didn't know Savio. I'm your fucking best friend I would have told you if I knew something was up" Alessandro said in his defence
"How do I trust you?" Savio asked him
"Please do. You out of all the people know I hate my father more than anyone in this world" He replied and then was released by Savio
"I made a plan to escape you, I just want your views on it," Alessandro said
"I'm in," Savio replied with a nod
"Let's give the Russian Mafia a taste of their own medicine," I affirmed.
The next few days were going to be violent, I don't like violence, I try to escape it as much as I can. But Violence likes me, I can't escape it then.

I know I know I'm sorrrrryyyy!!! IT TOOK ME AGES TO UPDATE, but I had a lot of stuff going on right now. I couldn't update the book. I had zero motivation to do anything, let's just say the past few days have been rough.
I hope you guys forgive me!! I'll try to update the book more regularly, at least I'll try to.
