The next morning was followed by a horrific hangover. Alice didn't remember anything. She was ecstatic and disappointed at the same time when I told her about her and Daniel. She wished more than anything to look back at what happened and reminisce.

The next three days was followed by no call or text. We tried not to mention the boys' absence too much but it was always on our minds. Why wouldn't they call or text? Did we do something wrong? Did the night pan out differently than I remembered? Alice felt worse about it, she felt Daniel had lead her on.

We decided to go spend the day at the carnival; we both agreed it would be a good distraction. But of course we were lying to ourselves. We walked through the bright yellow gates with nothing but the boys on our minds, ours were eyes peeled and we were hopeful we'd see them here again. We strolled through the Games area with our arms linked, enjoying the exciting atmosphere.

Alice soon found the Milk Bottle game and gave in her money for three balls. I watched her, amused. She was so determined to beat this game; she'd be unstoppable if her money supply could keep up. My eyes soon roamed our surroundings. Alice was able to distract herself but I could not. I felt my mood slowly degrade as I thought negatively of why the boys never kept in touch. Alice picked up on it straight away.

"What is wrong my dear?" Alice asked, not taking her eyes off the targets.

I crossed my arms and replied, "You know what's wrong."

She stopped and turned to me, "We both know it's best not to think about it."

I kept quite because I knew she was right. But it didn't cure my new bad mood. She returned to knocking over the Milk Bottles as best as she could and I continued to watch her.

"You know this game is probably ridged." I said dully, no longer amused at her efforts.

She stopped again and sighed, her body slouching at the same time. She didn't respond to me and continued with her game. I couldn't help being so moody all of a sudden. I just expected more, I expect to see them again. I wanted to see them again. I needed to see them again. And I couldn't help but think that they didn't want to see us again. They didn't need to see us again and that's why they never called. We had overstayed our welcome on cloud nine.

Feeling like I just broke my own heart, I managed to continuously torture myself and let my eyes roam around again. And just when all hope was lost - I spotted five boys in the corner of my eye. I snapped my head back in their direction and yes, they were our five boys. Our little shits. They were here, like we'd so desperately hoped. All five of them were raging at the Whack-A-Mole.

My eyes widened and I pulled at Alice's arm, making her miss completely. "The boys are here! The boys are here! The Janoskians are here! Oh my fucking god, act cool! Be cool, be cool, be cool!" I blabbered.

"Holy shit man!" Alice giggled, half fan-girling, half at me.

"How do we get their attention?" I stressed.

"Um, go up to them and say hi?" Alice answered completely calm.

"Really, say hi? Maybe we should say 'Oh hey! Where have you guys been? You haven't called us in three days, nine hours and forty-five minutes. Oh, we haven't been following you around or anything'," I said extremely sarcastic.

"Fuck, um."

Alice began to panic as well. She searched around us, thinking of a better way to make ourselves known. I started nervously bopping on the spot, stressing for Alice to come up with a solution. Thinking on her feet, Alice frantically climbed into the stall in front of us - the operator reading a magazine - and lunged at the milk bottles. I watched her wide eyed as she knocked over every single milk bottle each one making the loudest crashing noise. After she had done, she casually hopped out of the stall - the operator just stared at her in shock.
