A/N: I don't remember who requested this, but everyone's LOVED this one shot. There will be another part, eventually since that was highly requested. This one shot is what would happen if Catherine saw the camera's in the hotel room.

She laid there, blanket thrown over her bare skin. Her eyes glued to the ceiling while James laid perfectly still next to her. She assumed he was asleep. However, she didn't know how. Her cheeks were still tinged pink from their endeavor. Her body still felt like it was on fire. It had been perfect. Oh so very perfect. A girl couldn't ask for a better first time. Her mind was swirling. Trying to comprehend what would happen next. Things had changed forever.

What would Karpov think? Would he rip them apart? Would he use their fondness for one another for his benefit? She blinked rapidly in the bed trying to clear her head. Water. She needed water. Perhaps some fresh air would be good too. She slowly sat up in the bed, careful not to disturb James. For a moment, she just looked at his sleeping figure. He looked so peaceful. So content.

She padded quietly to the bathroom and shut the door behind her. She decided not to be fully nude anymore and leaned down to slip her bra, underwear and a hotel robe on over her body. The only cup that was available for her to use was the small plastic ones meant for mouthwash. It would have to suffice. She filled the cup up a few times. Catherine's eyes landed on the mirror in front of her.

Her make up was smeared. Her hair was a mess. She looked...like she had had a one night stand. It wasn't a good look. To the right of the mirror was a small black dot. At first, she thought it was just part of the mirror until a small, red light flashed. It was a camera. What the hell was a camera doing in the bathroom? Were the owners some kind of perverts? She titled her head slightly, but try not to be obvious.

Curiosity was starting to get the best of Catherine. Part of her thought she should wake James up. He would probably simply brush it off. She wrapped her hand around the doorknob and slowly opened the door so she could look around the rest of the hotel room. She stood in the doorway for a moment to survey her surroundings. She spotted a second camera in the corner of the room, right next to a vent.

What the hell was going on?

She walked over to the dresser that sat to the side of the room where her gun laid next to an arrangement of flowers. Something was wrong and she didn't want to be caught without a weapon. As she reached for her gun, she bumped the vase and something moved. A thin, black wire was coming of it. Another camera.

Okay, Catherine. Use your brain. Something isn't right.

She was talking to herself. Wonderful. However, she genuinely felt like she was going crazy. Then she noticed the angle of every camera. They were all pointed to the bed. Why would they be pointed at the bed? All the color drained from her face as a realization hit her. It was a stretch. A major stretch, but it was a possibility. She heard a noise behind her and spun around.

James stood in front of her semi dressed and she had her gun pointed at his chest. "Catherine? What are you doing?"

James noticed the hard expression on her face. The rage in her eyes. Something was very wrong. She had never looked at him in that way. He took a step forward towards her with his arms raised and she cocked the gun.

"Don't. Move." She said through gritted teeth. "What is this?"

"What? Catherine?" He asked confused.

"The cameras. I'm not an idiot, James."

This time he was the one who lost all color in his face. She knew. Of course she knew. She had been raised to be observant. It had been a horrible idea, not to mention dangerous. However, he kept quiet. He didn't speak up. He knew what would happen if he did. He shuddered at the thought.
