A/N: This was requested awhile ago. I just can't remember by who, but they wanted to know how Catherine talked about Bucky to Will after he got snapped away and what Tony would do if he ever asked about his dad. This is probably 4.5 years after the snap. Please enjoy!

"You don't have to watch him, Tony." Catherine argued with her older brother as they stood out in his driveway.

"It's not a big deal. It gives you a break and it let's Will and Morgan play together." Tony told her with the shrug of his shoulders. "Now go before I change my mind."

She smiled up at him. "You know you're the best big brother?"

"I know." He said smugly.

"You know the rules," Catherine told him as she neared her car. "No weird experiments. No making my son weapons, especially miniature Iron Man suits. In fact, let's just keep out of your lab, period."

"You're no fun." Tony teased her. Once she had left, he turned to his daughter and nephew with a mischievous look on his face. "Wanna make a rocket?"

The four year olds look at one another. "Yes!"

While Catherine explicitly told him not to take William into his lab, she didn't say anything about bringing the lab to him. Tony knew just the way to entertain the children that didn't involve any dangerous activities, just good ole fashion fun. He snapped his fingers as a list of things they needed appeared in his mind. "Morgan, I want you to go inside and ask mom for an empty bottle, the vinegar, baking soda and a wine bottle cork. Will, you can go with me to the garage."

The little girl ran away and Tony turned on his heel. The garage also known as part of Tony's makeshift lab wasn't anything spectacular. However, he found himself needing it less. There were no imminent threats. Everyone was too somber to do anything. He usually spent most of his time with his daughter.

"Look for some tape while I get a few pencils." Tony told his nephew.

Will nodded his head and began to rummage through the draws. As he did, he peered around the garage, looking at the various items; a spare Iron Man suit helmet, some weird device and then a photo of his Uncle Tony when he was young with his father, Will's grandfather. Father. It was a word Will barely knew or spoke. He knew he had a father. His mom talked about him seldom. She always got a sad look on her face when she did talk about him.

"Uncle Tony? Can I ask you a question?" Will spoke up.

"Uhh, sure."

"Did you know my dad?" He asked.

Tony dropped the pencils in his hand. He certainly wasn't expecting that question. He bent down to pick up the pencils and could feel the panic setting in. His nephew was smart and observant. He supposed at one point the question would arise. Tony just hoped he would have asked Catherine, not him. It was a delicate situation. Will was four. He couldn't give him the complete truth.

"Umm...I didn't know him...that well. We only met a few times before he-" Tony stopped himself. Explaining Thanos to a child was difficult.

"Got Snapped?" William finished his sentence for him.

"Yes. Your father, like the rest of those who disappeared that day, are heroes. That wasn't the only time he was heroic. He was a soldier and he fought against some bad guys a few times."

William tilted his head. "What was he like?"

"He was...quiet."

"I'm not quiet." William interrupted him.

Tony scoffed. "You get that from your mother."

"I was hoping...that I would be like him?" His little voice wavered.
