Sarah's POV
Early the next morning, I woke up to Hayes on the floor, laying beside my bed. He had a blanket overtop of his body and a small pillow, elevating his head. My mind began to race.
How long has he been there? Why is he in my room? Couldn't he have slept on the couch?
Instantly, I stopped thinking about it as I rolled on my stomach, putting my face was towards him. I stared at Hayes as I saw him roll over, looking at me.
"Morning." He said in a raspy voice, slowly sitting up. He noticed I was staring at him.Crap.
"Morning." I said, looking away and blushing. "Why did you fall asleep on the floor?"
"I don't know." Hayes shrugged his shoulders. "I had no where else comfortable to sleep." After he said that I was going to name other places, like the couch, but I didn't want to sound rude and that I don't like him.
"I see. Sorry to ask that, it was just a surprise when I saw you." I chuckled, fixing my messy hair.
"It's fine. I didn't want to wake you up if I didn't need to." Hayes sat up and leaned against the wall, still looking at me.
"You can sit on the bed if you want. Instead of being on the floor." I offered, feeling bad that I have a comfortable surface and he doesn't. He stood up and went under the covers with me.
"Hey." I smiled, turning my head to face him.
"Hi." He smiled back, being in almost the same position as me.We were both laying on our stomachs with our arms in front as our chin rested on our arms.
"What's the plan for today?" I asked, turning over towards him.
"I don't know, anything you want to do?" Hayes asked, looking deep into my eyes.
"Nothing specific. Walk? Maybe?" I suggested, throwing things out there.
"Sounds great." Hayes whispered, continuing to look at me.
